"Percy!" One of the Hermes kids that Percy had stationed as guards called.

"What do you see?" Percy asked.

"The mortals appear to be... sleeping."

Percy got up from where he was talking with Thalia and looked over the city of Manhattan. He had gathered the demigods and werewolves at the Empire State Building, also known as the doorway to Mount Olympus. The mortals thought that the building was under renovations to make them stay away, and during the night the armies had snuck in and set up defenses.

From the vantage point of the top floor, Percy's watchmen could see any approaching monster army, but surprisingly that wasn't the first sign of their attack. As the watchman had pointed out, all of the mortals were indeed asleep.

Thalia walked up next to Percy. "This is just like that line from the prophecy: And see the world in endless sleep."

"So now, we can look forward to some a here's soul being reaped." Percy frowned. "Let's just make sure that Olympus is preserved. We don't like the Olympians, but they're a far better alternative than the Titans."

Annabeth had been looking puzzled for a while. She finally turned to Percy and Thalia and asked, "Why would Kronos put Manhattan to sleep? Doesn't he want mortals to die?"

Percy answered. "Yes, but they would get in the way too much. The Mist shrouds their forms, but if monsters just started murdering civilians that would raise an alarm. Better to put them all asleep and just walk through them unimpeded."

"I guess that makes sense."

"But, if they want to walk through undisturbed, now would be a good time to start." Percy looked over at a different Huntsman, one of the generals under his command.

"Relay my orders to the communications unit and have them tell everyone the plan: This city is an island, so all tunnels and bridges need to be secured. These instructions are for each entry point. I want at least one Hephaestus kid rigging traps. Divide the Ares, Aphrodite and Apollo kids evenly. Divide Huntsmen as well, but keep two hundred here as backups. Hermes kids are lookouts, they'll keep an eye on the battlefield so we know where to send reserve werewolves. Put Poseidon's daughter on a Pegasus, have her fly around using her water powers to sink any ships trying to cross."

The werewolf scribbled all the orders onto a piece of paper.

"Make a base of operations for the Athena kids. They'll get constant reports from the Hermes kids and send in troops where they're needed. Thalia and I will stay back here. Kronos will make it to Mount Olympus somehow, and when he does, we'll be ready."

"Is that all, Beta?" The Huntsman asked.

"Yes, that's all."

The wolf hurried to the makeshift communications team, made up of the head comm worker sitting at the building's intercom system.

Percy glanced at Annabeth. "You should head over to the Athena base."

Annabeth started towards the door, then stopped and turned around. "I just had one question: how did you originally get into camp? I know you're not really a son of Thanatos."

Percy grinned slightly. "You invited me."

Annabeth looked shocked. "I did no such thing!"

"You did. When I was running up to camp, your first words were 'come in here.'"

"You little trickster," Annabeth muttered and walked out the door.

Percy sat back down and began sharpening his arrowheads.
