After the Ospreys were loaded onto the ship, Optimus and I decided to go on our own, seeing as we could both fly. While we were flying to the ignition chamber, my eyes fixated on Cybertron above us. Then something came to my mind. What if when we get rid of Quintessa, Cybertron doesn't go back to where it was? I don't know what will happen and that kind of scares me.
"Y/n? What's wrong?" Optimus asked.
"What happens after Quintessa is gone?" I asked.
"More than likely Cybertron will remain attached to Earth and will try to rebuild itself. One thing that must happen after this is done is that we must kill Unicron." He said seriously.
"Unicron?" I asked.
"The Destroyer. He is the ancient enemy of Primus, who also happens to make up the core of the Earth. He is dormant and sleeping now, but how long this energy transfer goes on will determine if he wakes or not." Optimus answered.
"What the fuck?! Why can't we ever get a damn break?!" I yelled into the sky, frustrated.
"I have a plan, it will be ok." He said, coming over to grab me in a hug. We spun around in the sky as we flew and I was so grateful for this little moment. I looked up at him and slid my visor back.
"Hi," I said happily.
"Hi." He replied. I smiled and slid my hands up to his face, pulling him towards me and kissing him. I missed this, I missed him. He smiled into it and pulled me flush against his body. I pulled back and nuzzled his neck.
"When we get home, the surprise I have for you...I really hope you do like it because I have this fear that you won't. It's not something to be taken lightly or something that can be taken back. It's permanent." I said.
"I will love it, I promise, even if I don't know what it is." He said with a smile. I pecked his nose and backed up a little.
"Thank you, that makes me feel a lot better, to be honest," I said with a smile. "Now come on, we've got work to do."
He chuckled and we both took off towards our destination.
When we landed, the Knights in their dragon form had landed with us. The battlefield was a damn mess. Human soldiers were huddled in the craters formed by the cannons and everybody else was running around and trying to dodge said cannons.
"Run for the chamber?" I asked and he nodded.
"Dad, we're going for the chamber, try to press forward. I'll take out the cannons." I ordered.
"Bout time you two showed up." He chuckled.
"Hey, we're here aren't we?" I laughed and I could see him shake his head.
"We need the cannons out first if you could, they're giving us a hard time." He requested and I took out my glaive. I used my wings to push me towards the cannons faster than they could track me and I jumped before sinking the blade into the top.
"Thank you." He said humorously and I smiled.
"You're welcome," I replied and went to go meet up with Optimus who was taking out a combiner to the left.
When I heard the word 'nuke' yelled by my uncle, I wasn't happy, to say the least. Apparently, some dipshit at NASA wants to use a piece of structure hanging above the ignition chamber to take it out. It's never going to work. The soldiers started evacuating and we started to get frustrated.
"We need Viviane!" Optimus said angrily as she and Cade, who had come to help, we're leaving with the soldiers.
"I know. Just wait a minute, I have faith in her." I said calmly as I watched and fought at the same time. Both of them were ready to jump off but Viviane stopped suddenly, making me proud. I smirked as she grabbed Cade, kissed him, and then came sprinting towards us. Hotrod shouted proudly to his charge and we all raced to the chamber.
