You better run. Run. Run. Before I can catch you, and believe me, you wouldn't like that...

I was at the attendings lounge, when Jackson came in. He was talking about how he was part of the "surgical royalty", and I told him there was no such thing as surgical royalty. He began teasing me, and the conversation went on something like this...

-Yeah, but I am surgical royalty

-Jackson, there is no such thing- I said laughing

-Yes there is, and you should know better

-Why?- I asked, slowly getting mad

-Because I mean, it's not like you aren't part of the same thing- he implied- we never had it easy, with our moms.

-Oh, you mean our moms?- I said relieved- yeah, sure

-Yes, well that and my grandfather too- he said

-Jackson, he might have been surgical royalty, but as a person, he was... regrettable.

-Okay I know that, but why are you attacking me Mer?

-Jackson, I am not attacking you, I'm attacking your grandfather.-I said laughing

-O...kay- he said as he left

What was the matter with him? He was quite grumpy... Anyhow, I left the attendings lounge and went to the pit.

-Good morning beautiful- I heard someone whisper in my ear from behind as he put his hands on my waist.

-Good morning- I said smirking as I turned around. Do you have any surgeries today?- I asked him

-Not at all- he said with a seductive tone.

-How bad...I do. So I'll see you later- I said as I left, leaving him wanting more.

When I entered the O.R, Jackson was there.

-Jackson! Um... what a surprise!- I said confused.

-Any problem, Grey?

-Nope, not at all- I replied- how about you take a minute or two to leave your grumpiness outside this O.R?

-I'm sorry, It's been a rough day. April came home early to take Harriet and I... anyways, I'm sorry.

-O...kay... Do you wanna talk about it?

-Nah- he quickly replied before I could finish asking.

-Okay fine- I said

-So, you and Lincoln?- he said smirking

-Shut up- I laughed

-He seems like a nice guy, but I'll tell you to be careful.

-Why?

-Well, seems like you guys haven't had enough time to get to know each other, you kind of rushed it...

-Jackson, can I tell you to fuck off? Literally, because you are being pessimistic and nobody asked for your opinion.

-Well, thanks a lot Mer. I'm just trying to take care of you, of your image, of what the whole hopital will think of you...

-Why... are you saying that... exactly?- I asked aggressively

-Because you just met him and you have already slept together like what, twenty times?

-Oh I see... you think I'm a slut. Fuck off Jackson!- I said as I was leaving

-No, Mer, I didn't mean it like that, I'm so sorry.- He said

-Don't be. Just shut up, and run. Because believe me, you wouldn't like it if I caught you, so run fast.
