It's been three months since the big arrest of four Chicago gang members and more importantly to Hank, the arrest of the couple Jake and Mary Foster who were the guardians of little 7 year old Oliver who Hank had watched and partially took care of the year the Fosters moved in next to him. Now that Oliver is in a group home for orphaned boys lead by his case manager Emily Cravas and no longer close to him Hank can't help but keep thinking of him. Out of all the kids he saved in his career and kids of his own he's had why was this one different? Why couldn't he forget Oliver? Why couldn't he just let him go? But with his life only consisting of his unit now maybe a change could be good. Trudy believes this too when she confronts Hank about something he thought he could keep to himself.
