Ryan lays on the bed, body completely weak as Dallon manages to slide off his jeans. He grabs the wash cloth and cleans up the dry blood from his knees, putting a large band-aid on the large scrape and little ones for the rest of the little scrapes. He grabs the pair of baggy sweatpants and gets them on the small brunet, smiling sadly when he notices Ryan looking beyond tired.

"Could I kill myself in your hotel room?" Ryan suddenly asks. Dallon's eyes widen slightly.

"What? No, no, of course not!" Dallon says worriedly, tossing the jeans to the side.

"Well, I'd rather do it somewhere where Shane isn't, so I'll just do it on the way home, I guess."

"No, no, no, you're not killing yourself."

"Why not?" Ryan asks, voice breaking halfway through as he forces himself to sit up. Dallon looks at him sadly. "I'm not doing any good for the world and no one would notice I'm gone."

"I would," Dallon says softly.

"How?"

Dallon stops himself, remembering that Ryan has no idea. Ryan looks down, feeling guilty and being ready to be hurt.

"I'm sorry," he says quickly, tense and terrified. Dallon grabs his sweater and carefully slides Ryan's shirt off. Ryan jumps at first, but quickly lets it happen, obviously scared.

"I'm not gonna hurt you," Dallon says once he realizes that Ryan seems to be scared of him. Ryan looks at him.

"Sorry," he whispers. He has marks and bruises all over him, all over his beautiful body. He's quite skinny. His hipbones and collarbones are very prominent, but he still seems to be a little healthy.

"Here," Dallon says carefully. Ryan grabs the sweater, putting it on. He still feels exhausted, but he's forcing himself to stay awake. He already feels guilty from passing out. "I want you to sleep."

"What?" Ryan asks, frowning slightly.

"When is the last time you slept?"

"What day is it?"

"Friday night."

"Well, besides me passing out, which I'm really sorry that happened, I didn't mean to, um..." Ryan thinks. He didn't sleep last night and he didn't sleep the night before. "Tuesday night," he mumbles, looking down.

"Okay, yeah, come on, you're sleeping," Dallon says, turning the lamp on before turning off the room lights. Ryan sits on the floor, and Dallon frowns. "What are you doing?"

"Sleeping on the floor?" He says in a way that makes Dallon's heart sink. He's so used to so little that he expects himself having to take the lowest option.

"Why?"

"Y-You have your bed, and... well, when Jon comes back, he'll want his own bed, right?"

"Yeah, but-"

"I just don't want to take your beds from you," Ryan says, then tenses the second he realizes what he just did. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you, oh my god, I-I'm so sorry, I-"

"Ry," Dallon says softly, kneeling down. Ryan is tense. He pushes himself up.

"I-I can leave, if you want." There's a small silence and doubt and worry fills Ryan's mind, so he stands up. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't... I'm sorry, I've been nothing but a bother, and-"

Dallon jumps up. Ryan stumbles and Dallon wraps his arms around him.

"Just relax. You're okay, okay? You're gonna lay in my bed with me, and then you're gonna fall asleep. No one's gonna hurt you. Not your dad, not Shane, and it's because I'm gonna be right here holding you. I'm not gonna let a single person hurt you ever again, okay?"

Ryan hugs him tightly. He hasn't gotten even a sliver of comfort since Shane revealed who he truly is.

"Thank you," Ryan says, tears forming in his eyes. "I'm sorry."

"There's nothing to be sorry over, baby," Dallon says and both of them stop. It slipped out. He didn't mean to say it, it just happened.

Neither say anything, but Dallon eventually pulls away and makes him lay in the bed.

"You look cute with my sweater on," Dallon says, smiling. Ryan blushes lightly, smiling shyly.

"I-"

"Don't you dare try to argue, you look adorable," Dallon says the second he realizes that Ryan was gonna try to deny it. Ryan blushes more. Dallon smirks slightly and crawls in bed. He lays down, then looks at Ryan. "Come here."

"What?"

"Haven't you ever snuggled with someone?"

Ryan shakes his head, frowning slightly. Dallon remembers just the kind of guy Ryan's dating and sighs slightly.

"Lay into me. Snuggle into me," Dallon says. Ryan hesitantly lays down, resting his head under Dallon's shoulder. Dallon holds him close, their legs intertwining. Dallon pulls the blankets up. "Are you scared of the dark?"

"Kinda, but... I'm not so scared right now," Ryan admits, so Dallon smiles and reaches over, turning off the light. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight, Ry."

Ryan relaxes into him and closes his eyes, his body soon going completely limp as he calmly falls asleep. Dallon smiles and kisses the top of his head once Ryan's asleep, closing his eyes and falling asleep as well.
