Too many secrets

chapter 3

Author's note: Trigger warning, sexual abuse. 

Kakashi looked at you very suspiciously. "Is everything alright (Y/N)?"

"Yes, yes...yes" You mentally kicked yourself for being so damn obvious.

"One more yes and I'll believe you." You smiled sheepishly. Kakashi then gently pulled you aside from the others. You tensed up at the sudden contact but you weren't too anxious. "Is there something you need to tell me (Y/N)? Something that could possibly affect the success or failure of this mission?" He stared you dead in the eye intensely.

"N...no of course not sensei." It wasn't a lie. Your secret had no effect on the mission. You tried walking away but he gripped your wrist firmly. "Are you sure." He was awfully close to you. You felt your breathing getting heavy, your muscles tensing.

"Please let go..." You wimpered, barely audible.

"What?" Kakashi asked confused.

"Let go of me, please don't hurt me!" You tried desperately to get your wrist out of his hand.

He quickly let go of you, a worried look on his face. You buried your face in your hands trying to hide your terror. All those terrible emotions came rushing back at once. You were terrified. "(Y/N) calm down I'm not going to hurt you, I promise." Before Kakashi could comfort you Naruto stepped between you two.

"What did you do to (Y/N) to make her upset?" Sasuke and Sakura kept their distance. Too afraid to intervene. Naruto wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you into a bear hug in an attempt to comfort you.

You looked down at Naruto hugging you. You slowly wrapped your hands around him. "(Y/N) I promise you I was not going to hurt you." Kakashi tried taking a few steps towards you but Naruto wasn't going to have that.

"Keep away from (Y/N) sensei. Your weird spikey hair is scaring her." Naruto's remark managed to get a little giggle out of you.

"I'm fine." You assured them. "Let's just get on with the mission. You walked past them both.

The five of you walked through the forest, with you right behind. You wanted some privacy with your thoughts. You noticed Kakashi glance back at you now and then but pretended you hadn't seen.

It was starting to get dark. "Let's camp here for tonight." We then all huddled together. "Sasuke, sakura and Naruto go find some food. (Y/N), you come with me to gather some wood."

The two groups split up. You and Kakashi wonder the forest for maybe five minutes before he spoke. "(Y/N) I can't help but feel you're hiding something."

You laughed nervously. "Well aren't we all?" He looked at you with a serious look on his face. It caused you to take a few steps back until you bumped into a tree.

"(Y/N) this isn't a game." He walked closer to you. "What are you hiding?"

"Nothing..." He then held your face with his hand so that you were looking him straight in the eye. "What are you..." Your voice sounded as if you were on the verge of crying.

"If you have nothing to hide you won't mind me reading your thoughts." You tried pushing him away but he was too strong.

He proceeded with lifting his headband which covered his eye. "Kakashi please don't. Yes I'm hiding something but I promise you it will not affect the mission." Your voice cracked as tears streamed down your face. "Please I'm begging you. Don't go inside my mind Kakashi." You held his wrist with both your hands hoping he'd let you go.

"Fine." He stepped back. You looked at him in horror.

His stern expression softened at the sight of your fear. "I'm sorry if I hurt..."

You cut him off. "Shut up! Okay just shut up! You have no idea what's going on so don't pretend to care." Tears still falling down your cheeks.

"(Y/N) I..."

"Just save it. Get the wood yourself, I'm going back to the camp."

You walked past him. You were just relieved he let you go.

When you got back to the camp no one else was there. The others must still be out looking for food. You sat on a rock and just let yourself cry. As soon as you heard footsteps you quickly wiped away your tears and conjured up that beautiful fake smile of yours.

"Hey (Y/N) where's kakashi sensei?" Sakura asked.

"He's still out collecting wood." You replied with your back facing them. You were afraid they'd notice you've been crying.

"Okay (Y/N) pull yourself together." You whispered to yourself.

"Did you say something (Y/N)?" Sakura asked.

"No nothing." You turned to face them. "So what did you guys find for dinner?

They presented you with a variety of fruit and berries.

You heard a rustling behind you. You turned to see kakashi with a stack of twigs. He started up a camp fire and after everyone ate, the sleeping schedule was given. Kakashi asked Sasuke to take the first shift and then he'd take the second shift.

You were relieved he didn't ask you to take any shifts tonight. Quite frankly you really needed your sleep. As soon as you rested your head on your sleeping bag you fell asleep.

"Come on princess. Just one kiss." Haru pushed you down on the bed.

"Get off! Please get off me!" You cried out.

He pressed his lips onto yours, forcing his tongue inside your mouth.

"You know you love it princess."

He then proceeded to pull down your pants. You tried getting him off you but to no avail.

"Get off! You're hurting me! Get off!"

"(Y/N)! Wake up. It's just a nightmare. Shhh. It's just a nightmare." You opened your eyes actually happy to see Kakashi.

"Don't let him hurt me Kakashi..." You buried your head into his chest.

"Shh don't worry, no one is going to hurt you. I promise." He stroked your hair as you cried into his chest.
