Too many secrets

Chapter 6

You sat on your bed waiting for Kakashi to finish his shower. You heard the shower turning off but then Kakashi came out of the bathroom wearing nothing but a towel around his waist. You felt your cheeks turn red, you quickly covered your eyes.

"What are you doing? I'm covered up." He chuckled.

"Yes... but you're naked under there..." You stuttered still covering your eyes.

"Well I'm naked under my regular clothes as well. What exactly is your logic here?" You could tell he was trying desperately to contain his laughter.

"Please just get dressed. In the BATHROOM!"

"Okay, okay I'm going. You know you're being really silly right now." You heard the bathroom door close, you assumed this was the signal for you to open your eyes again.

"Hey (Y/N)." Kakashi called from inside. You turned your attention to the closed bathroom door. "Could you maybe hand me my clothes please. I left it on the dresser."

"Sure."

You picked up his neatly folded pile of clothes but something fell off the top. You looked to the floor to see his boxers. Is it weird if I pick it up? Okay well I just made it weird by asking that. Maybe if I grab it using the bottom part of the pile of clothes? Then technically I wouldn't be touching it.

You slowly knelt down being very careful not to unfold the clothes because you knew darn well you couldn't replicate this.

"(Y/N)?" Kakashi suddenly speaking startled you and you dropped the pile.

"Oh shit." You looked at the clothes laying on the floor. "Uhm... just give me a second."

"What are you doing? I think it's a 2 second trip from the dresser to the bathroom door." You frowned at his sarcasm. "I'm coming out. Just a little warning in case you want to cover your eyes."

You couldn't let him see you on the floor trying to fold his clothes. "No don't come." Before you could finish your sentence Kakashi came out wearing his towel around his waist. "Out..." you said the lost part in hopelessness.

You only noticed now that Kakashi was wearing a wet cloth around his face, which you found very weird. "(Y/N) why are you and my clothes on the floor." You turned your head away slightly so that you didn't have to stare at Kakashi half-naked.

"I uhm... uhm... you, you don't wanna know." You really did not want to tell Kakashi what happened and quite frankly you couldn't think of a lie believable enough.

He chuckled. "Yeah you're probably right." He knelt down, his face really close to yours. You were really uncomfortable at this point.

"Honestly it's as if you're a 3 year old stuck inside a 20 year olds body." He said trying to taunt you.

"Oh whatever." Was all you managed to get out.

"Note to self. If I ever want to win an argument with (Y/N) just remind her that I'm naked underneath my clothes." You felt yourself turning extremely red.

"Could you just get dressed please." You said still looking away, your neck straining because of how far you were trying to turn it.

He made his way back to the bathroom after picking up all his clothes. You couldn't believe how flustered and embarrassed you were.

After Kakashi came out of the bathroom you took a shower. You stayed in really long. You usually did because you always found it funny when your hands were all wrinkly. "(Y/N), you okay in there?" Kakashi called out.

"Yeah I'm fine." You decided maybe it was time to get out.

You looked around the bathroom for you clothes. Then you realized you hadn't even laid out any clothes, let alone brought them in the bathroom with you. "Oh shit oh shit oh shit."

"Hey are you okay in there?" You heard Kakashi walking towards the door.

"NO! DON'T COME IN HERE!" You quickly covered yourself with a towel.

"Okay I won't come in."

You slowly opened the door to see Kakashi standing right outside. He folded his arms looking at you.

"I forgot my clothes." You said softly.

You tried maneuvering around him being very careful not to touch him even in the slightest. He sat down on your bed and watched you nervously look through your bag for your nightdress. You were stumbling and heard Kakashi laugh.

"I'll wait outside your room until your done dressing, okay." He sounded kind. You were so relieved when he left.

You quickly dried off and slipped on your nightdress. "You can come back in."

"If you don't mind I'm going to spend the night here. On the couch of course." Kakashi said as he came in. "I'd feel a lot better if I did. I took care of Haru but better safe than sorry." He looked at your horrified expression. "No I did not kill him. Like I said, his in the stables, unconscious."

He moved to sit on your bed. "Look, I'm sorry I put you in this situation. I had no idea how horrible the truth was." He was referring to the fact that he had everyone spend the night here. "I also wanted to find out what Haru did to you that made you so afraid of him. I swear if I knew it was that terrible I wouldn't have insisted." He seemed to be very angry with himself.

You sat next to him. "It's okay Kakashi. I should actually thank you. Facing my past and fears was long overdue. Besides you were here with me so at least I had support." You just realized what that sounded like... "I mean, I appreciate... you're uhm..."

"You're welcome." He chuckled. "I'm waiting for my thank you." You looked at him confused...

"But I just said..."

"I meant for saving you from your inevitable embarrassing rant just now." He said smugly. You hated how Kakashi knew exactly what buttons to push. "Also when did we drop the sensei part when addressing me?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm so sorry sensei I didn't... I mean." He laughed which made you feel very uncomfortable.

"I'm kidding (Y/N). You are way too much of a worry wart you know that. Call me Kakashi if you want, it's kinda weird when you address me as sensei. We are in the same age group after all." That did make sense you thought. "By the way, have you eaten anything at all tonight?" You tried remembering if you had.

"No but I'm not hungry." He looked at you for a while before answering.

"Okay fine but make sure you eat breakfast tomorrow." You nodded.

Later you crept under the blankets in your bed and Kakashi laid on the couch reading a book. "So you like reading huh?" He nodded in response not taking his eyes away from the book. "Can I see it?"

"No." He answered bluntly, his eyes still on the book.

"What? Why not?"

"Because you'd probably go into a coma if you did. I mean you get skittish at the thought of people being naked underneath their clothes, you definitely wouldn't be able to handle this." You frowned at him before going to him and snatching the book from his grasp.

"She moaned in pleasure as his bulge rubbed against her..." You couldn't finish the rest of the sentence. You slowly handed the book back to Kakashi before walking back to your bed shamefully. "Goodnight." You said throwing the covers over your face.

"Goodnight (Y/N)."He said cheerfully.
