Too many secrets

Chapter 4

You realized what you were doing before you pushed out of Kakashis arms. "I'm sorry sensei." You got up to leave but to your surprise Kakashi pulled you in for another hug. "(Y/N), I don't know what's going on but I can see you are in a great deal of pain. You don't have to be strong all the time. It's okay to be vulnerable around people who care." You wrapped your arms around his waist. You were a lot shorter than he was.

"It's not that easy Kakashi..."

"I know...I know..." He then broke the embrace. "Try to get some sleep. If you have another nightmare, my shoulders are broad." You could see him smiling through his mask.

"Thank you Kakashi sensei."

You drifted back to sleep. Thank goodness you had no nightmares tonight.

After two more days of traveling you finally made it to the Goruden Kingdom. You quickly checked your bag for anything you could wear that would hid your identity. A hoodie or anything. But to no avail.

You fell back in the group and pulled Sakura aside. "Hey Sakura do you perhaps have a hoodie or coat I could borrow." You whispered.

"Why are we whispering?" She asked playing along.

"Nevermind that, so do you or don't you?" You asked for a second time. She quickly checked her bag for the items you wanted. "Sorry (Y/N) I don't, besides I don't really think any of my clothes would fit you. Your breasts are exceptionally bigger than mine." You stared at her, completely shocked at this unexpected response.

Kakashi glanced back at the two of you, no doubt because he heard Sakuras unsavory remark. "Keep up you two." He called. You wished the earth would just swallow you whole at this point.

You resorted to asking Sasuke and Naruto for anything that could hide your identity but you had no luck. The thought of asking Kakashi crossed your mind but for some reason you were really shy around him.

"I have something that might help." Kakashi turned to you. He reached in his bag and pulled out an identical mask to his.

"Thank you so much Kakashi." Before you could take the mask, he quickly pulled it away from you.

"Why do you have to hide your identity?" He asked looking down at you. You looked around to see if Naruto or the others were in earshot. They seemed to be in awe of the kingdom, too distracted to see you and Kakashi talking.

"I..." You took a deep breathe, wondering how much of the truth you should tell him. "There are some people in this kingdom that... I'd prefer to stay away from..." It was the truth, just a very vague version of the truth.

He handed you the black mask. The second you put it on Naruto asked. "Hey (Y/N), why are you wearing that mask? You know you don't need one. You're really pretty."

You smiled at how unintentionally sweet he was. "Aww Naruto you are so sweet." You said pinching his cheeks, which caused Sasuke to grin smugly.

"Hey what are you smirking at you show off!" The two of them initiated in a heated worded battle. Well Naruto would mostly throw insults at Sasuke and he'd for the most part ignore him.

"Hey (Y/N)! Mind if I walked next to you?" Sakura came running up to. "I am in no mood to be in the middle of another Naruto and Sasuke argument.

"Sure thing Sakura." You smiled at her.

"So (Y/N)." Sakura sounded very nervous. "Could you maybe give me some advice on boys." You looked at her stunned. Was she really asking you this? Of all people you thought.

"Sakura, I'm not exactly the expert in that area."you laughed embarrassingly.

"Well how many boyfriends have you had?" You felt yourself turning red. You were also very worried that Kakashi was listening in on your conversation. He wasn't that far ahead of you two. "Well? How many? And what's it like having sex? Does it really hurt as much as people say?" You were extremely uncomfortable having this one sided conversation with a 13 year old girl."
