Too many secrets

Chapter 7

The next morning the six of you made your way to the hidden sand village. After breakfast that is. Kakashi was leading the group, Naruto and Sasuke on either side of Lord Riku and You and Sakura right behind him. This was the best defense in case there was an attack. However Lord Riku wasn't too worried about that happening.

You travelled for about a week perhaps before arriving at the sand village. Lord Riku informed Kakashi that he was going to be here for three days before he could leave. You were really unhappy, you thought this wouldn't take more than an hour. "This is the worst mission ever!" We didn't even get to fight anyone!" Naruto shouted.

"I think I'm going to relax in the hot springs, I saw one a little ways outside the village." You said. Naruto and Sakura ended up joining you.

Naruto went over to the male's side and you and Sakura the female's side. "Hey (Y/N)." You looked at Sakura. "What happened to your stomach?" She was referring to your scar from the time you...

"Uhm, just a little training accident." She seemed to believe you.

You both relaxed in the hot springs in silence. No one else was there besides you two. That's how you preferred it actually.

"(Y/N), did you and Kakashi sensei sleep together back in Goruden?" You nearly drowned at Sakura's question.

"What?" You asked, hoping you somehow misheard.

"I was just wondering if Kakashi sensei spent the night in your room back in Goruden. I saw him leave your room early the morning the day we left. It was weird."

"Uhm... no of course he didn't." You lied.

"Do you like Kakashi sensei?" She asked with a huge grin.

"Okay I think I'm done here." You said quickly getting out of the hot spring and taking your robe.

You saw a little note on your robe.

We will be staying at the lush inn

Come find us there when you and Sakura are done.

You went back to Sakura to tell her where to meet up when she finished up. You wondered if he let Naruto know. He most probably did.

It was getting dark which made you feel nervous. You griped on your robe as you walked faster through the forest trail which led to the hidden sand village.

You heard rustling behind you. Oh shit, is someone following you? You didn't have your weapons on you either, you gave all your things to Kakashi before you left for the hot springs.

"Who's there?" You sounded a lot more terrified than you thought you'd sound.

Three men emerged from behind some bushes. "Well what do we have here?" one of the men smirked at you.

"I'm warning you! Don't come any closer." You took your battle stance. They all laughed at you.

"You're really cute." He stepped forward and wrapped an arm around your waist. You immediately pushed him away. "Now don't be difficult, I just want a little kiss." You punched him in the face, causing him to fly a few paces back.

The other two men came running too. You grabbed one of them by the arm and swung him into the other one. You noticed your robe was coming undone. You took your attention off them to retie it.

You looked up to see one of them was about to punch you. There wasn't enough time to counter.

Out of nowhere Naruto and Sakura arrived. Naruto took out the guy who was about to punch you and you turned your attention to the other two. You easily took care of them, knocking them out as well.

"You're welcome for saving you (Y/N)!" Naruto said admiring his work.

"Yes thank you my hero." You hugged him playfully and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Cut it out (Y/N), you're embarrassing me." He broke out of your grasp.

The three of you walked back to the village, it took you a while before you found the Lush Inn. Kakashi was sitting in the common room, probably waiting for all of you.

"Kakashi sensei! I saved (Y/N)! I am the greatest ninja there is!" Kakashi looked at you confused.

"I ran into some guys on my way back and Naruto jumped in to help me. I wasn't in any real danger." You explained. You looked at Sakura who you realized was quite the entire way back. "Sakura are you okay?" She kept her gaze to the floor, you could tell she was upset about something.

"I just... I feel so useless. I couldn't even hold my own against those guys in the forest. I froze, you and Naruto were so amazing. And I couldn't even manage to throw one single punch.

"Sakura, don't..."

"Save it..." She ran out of the inn. You wanted to run after her but Kakashi stopped you.

"I doubt she wants to see any now. Come on I'll show you your room." He put his hand on your shoulder to guide you. Your room was big with a queen sized bed and a bathroom. "My room is right next to yours if you need me."

"What about us sensei?" Naruto asked.

"Uhm, yes my room is right here if you need me." He pointed to the room next to yours.

"Thanks sensei!" Naruto smiled. Sasuke gave you and Kakashi a death glare. You were somewhat uncomfortable.

"Goodnight everyone." You greeted

While you were settling in your room you heard a knock on your door. "Who is it?"

"Sasuke." Sasuke? Why was he knocking at your door?

"Come in." You said laying out some clothes to wear for tomorrow.

He entered and stared at you as if he was trying to kill you with his mind. "Can I help you Sasuke?"

"What's going on with you and Kakashi sensei?" You turned all your attention to him. Why was everyone enquiring about you and Kakashi today? "I need to try and become stronger. I can't become a better ninja if my sensei is too busy day dreaming about some random slut."

"Excuse me?" You could not believe the words coming out of this little boy's mouth.

"You heard me. Don't think I didn't notice how cozy you and Kakashi are. Like earlier today when he was draped around you and assuring you he was nearby if you needed him." He looked at you, somehow even angrier than before. "Damn slut." He said coldly.

"Sasuke that is enough." You said sternly. "Obviously you have some deep rooted issues but that is no excuse to speak to anyone like that. Especially a lady, you ought to learn some manners." You stepped closer to him. "Also there is nothing between Kakashi sensei and I. Not that it's any of your business anyway." He left slamming the door behind him.

Later that night while you were in your bed your mind wondered to how both Sakura and Sasuke mentioned something about you and Kakashi... It was only two opinions and they were from children so what would they know of such matters? Besides, Naruto never mentioned anything of that nature. Then again it's Naruto we are talking about here.

You lay with your eyes closed. Could Kakashi like me? No no no no (Y/N) pull yourself together. He's your sensei! It's totally inappropriate. Besides, you don't feel like that about him. Right?...
