"You still with dat Summer broad?" Jamel asked King as they walked through the trap house.
"Autumn?" King chuckled, "nah, I got a new shorty," he replied, pulling out his phone and showed him Renae's picture.
"Oh, she bad bad, what her name is?"
Laughing, King shook his head sliding his phone back in his pocket. "Renae."
Jamel smirked. "Different... I fucks with it."
"Mm-hmm," King followed him up the stairs.
"So how long are you gonna be here?"
"I'm not here to stay, I gotta head back up for my girl birthday but I'll be driving back and forth until I can get shit popping in Virginia," King told him as they walked inside the meeting room.
"Oh shit." Tyron, Jamel's brother spoke. "When da hell did you get back here?" He embraced King.
"Like two days ago."
"And yo ass just now popping up?" He asked.
"I had to give yo brotha' da run down on some shit, but what you got for me?" King cut straight to the point.
"Depends on what you tryna do," Tyron sat down and King sat at the end of the table.
"I'm tryna be my own boss woe."
"Like tha' last time?"
King nodded.
"What happened up in Virginia?"
"It ain't me, I'm not used to somebody telling me what to do. Plus my shorty is related to my co-boss and we ain't really been tight like before." He told them. "And, da rules up there hella corny." He added.
"Y'all got rules woe?" They men chuckled.
Amused, King nodded, "It was a lil gang shit I hopped my ass into with a bunch of young bulls. But da so-called big homie tried to tell me dat I gotta get my girl jumped in since she kin to my homeboy. I told dat nigga to beat my ass or get up off me."
"And what he say?" They asked.
King casually shrugged, "He paid me what he owed and let my ass leave like I knew he would. They know I'm not one for da games."
"So in order for you and shorty to date, she gotta get jumped in?" That was some crazy mess they've heard.
"Yup," King shook his head. "And gotta be a pawn for da sneaky shit we do, like robberies, hiding our weed and guns in her crib, wack shit like dat."
"And you stayed in dat wack ass shit for almost how many years, G?"
King laughed, "I gotta eat don't I?"
"Goon you wasn't hurting dat damn bad, I'm glad yo ass did come back tho, 'cause dat definitely won't it for you." Jamel told him. "How yo girl gon' feel about you driving back and forth here?"
"I'll talk to her about it, I'm sure she won't care. I gotta do what I gotta do," King answered as a call from Renae came in. Hitting ignore, he placed the phone on the table.
Jamel and Tyron gave him a bewildered look, "Did you just hang dat phone up?"
"I'll call her back after dis."
"Yo, you better call dat fine ass girl back." Jamel spoke.
King cut his eyes at him.
"She bad?" Tyron grinned.
