Chapter Eight
"ᎢᎾᎡᏟᎻ ᏆᎢ? ᏔᎻᎾ ᎪᎡᎬ YᎾᏌ?"

Eugene whipped the cop car into the Best Little Chapel's parking lot. The group quickly fled out of the car, hoping there would be someone here to answer their questions.

"What about the baby?" Kristoff asked.

"Just leave him in the car. We're only gonna be five minutes." Eugene replied, closing his door.

"Woah, Eugene, we're not leaving a baby in the car." Hiccup replied. That was totally unsafe. The baby could overheat or someone could steal him. The last thing Hiccup wanted to be responsible for was a dead or missing baby.

"He'll be fine. I cracked the window." Eugene said. Hesitantly, Hiccup closed his door and followed Kristoff and Eugene inside. He hoped Eugene knew what he was talking about since he had a child of his own.

They entered the chapel, confused by everything they saw. It was interesting to say the least, but it was cozy. "What if they don't remember us?" Hiccup asked as they stood in the waiting room.

"Well, let's just find out." Eugene said, looking around for someone to talk to. They walked further into the chapel, seeing some people adjusting flowers along the alter. "I'm sor-- Excuse me, sir? Hi."

The man turned around, a grin growing wide in his face. "Look at these guys. What happened?" He exclaimed, rushing over to them. "You miss me? You miss Eddie? You want more from me?"

He gave Eugene a large hug, slapping his back. "How are you, my friend?" Eddie asked as Eugene stood frozen, unsure what to do. Eddie rushed over to Kristoff, pinching his cheeks. "Look at this guy. You're fucking crazy." He smiled before giving him a hug too. "What's going on, man?"

Eddie stepped back, grinning at the group. "Listen to me, I'm gonna tell you something. I know some sick people in my life. This guy is the craziest, wildest bastard I ever met in my life, man." Eddie declared, gesturing to Hiccup.

"Who? This guy?" Eugene asked, pointing at Hiccup beside him.

"This guy is out of his mind. What's going on you crazy motherfucker?" Eddie said, pulling Hiccup in for a hug. Eugene couldn't believe it. Hiccup was too strict and never allowed himself to have any fun. Apparently when he was on drugs he was too wacked out to think about the consequences and just let loose.

Eddie pulled away, gently slapping Hiccup. "I thought he was gonna eat my dick."

Everyone took a deep breath, unsure what to say. They had stayed silent for most of the time, trying to process everything happening around them. Eddie noticed their strange calmness. "What happened? No love for Eddie? You don't hug me?"

"No, no. It's not that, Eddie. Uh, it's just that we're having a hard time remembering what happened here last night." Hiccup explained. He felt bad that Eddie enjoyed them so much and they didn't even remember him.

"Yeah, was there a wedding here? Do you do weddings here?" Kristoff asked.

Eddie tipped back his head, laughing. "You're cracking my balls, man."

"Eddie, obviously we were here last night. We're looking for our friend Jack." Eugene said, gently rubbing his chin. "Do you remember him?"
