Chapter Three
"ᏔᎾᏌᏞᎠ ᏟᏌᏢᏟᎪK KᏆᏞᏞ YᎾᏌ?"

"Guys, I can't tell you how much this means. Kristoff's been waiting for the invite ever since he got wind of the wedding." Pete said, leading the group through the house.

"I'm sure he has." Hiccup said.

"Yeah, he's been standing outside by the mailbox every day." Pete quietly added with a soft sigh. He felt bad for Kristoff. Pete was able to understand why Hiccup didn't want to invite him to the wedding, but he felt terrible that Kristoff wasn't able to understand. Kristoff was just too unpredictable.

"Wow, that's rough." Eugene said, glancing around at the group.

"Yeah. I, uh . . ." Pete trailed as they arrived outside of Kristoff's door. "I'm not quite sure he ever really left Vegas, you know? He really needs this." Pete said. Jack looked over his shoulder, giving Hiccup a look as Pete knocked on the door.

"What?" Kristoff asked.

"Sweetie, it's Pa Pa. You have visitors." Pete said. He turned and looked at the group. "Go in slowly, give him a chance to acclimate." He advised like Kristoff was some pet.

Kristoff opened the door, glaring to see who came to bother him. "Hey, Kristoff." Jack greeted.

A soft smile grew on Kristoff's face as he looked at his best friends in front of him. He hadn't seen some of them in a few years. "Hey, guys." He held onto the doorway. "Hey, Eugene."

"Hey, bud." Eugene grinned. Hiccup was still unsure. He really didn't want Kristoff there. Not mention Kristoff didn't seem too enthused to see him in particular.

Kristoff glanced at his father then his friends. "Uh--Uh, you guys wanna come in?" He stammered, unsure where to really look, almost like a child.

"Sure." Jack smiled.

"Yeah, absolutely." Eugene nodded.

Jack led the group, entering the room first. "Hey." He said, patting Kristoff's back.

"Hey." He quickly replied, doing the same.

"Hey." Eugene repeated, slapping his back too.

"Hey." Kristoff nodded, then pulled him in for a long hug. He really missed Eugene the most. "Hey, Hic." He smiled, looking at the last member of their friend group.

Pete smiled, glad that his son was getting along good. "Okay. See you on the court in half--"

Kristoff slammed the door on his face and walked away. The guys walked around, looking at all of the posters Kristoff had hanging up. It was almost like he had never really grew up. The posters mostly involved superheroes and villains.

"Pretty cool room, Kristoff." Eugene said.

"Oh, thanks, Eugene. My dad pays my rent." He quickly replied, shuffling around his room. He was glad that they liked his taste in decorating.

"Kristoff, what the fuck?" Jack asked, rushing over to a corner of the room. Everyone else quickly followed, wondering what Jack had seen. In front of them were huge pictures on his wall. "We were supposed to delete these. You made a promise." He scolded.
