Chapter Nine
"ᎢᎻᎪᎢ'Ꮪ ᎷY FᎪᏟᎬ."The three, four including the monkey, traveled to the police station. Hiccup, Kristoff, and the monkey patiently waited while Eugene went to retrieve Teddy. He was currently in a much better mental state than Hiccup and he was totally more qualified than Kristoff.
"Yes, I have his paperwork right here." The police officer said through the window.
"Okay." Eugenel nodded, leaning against the counter.
"He has been cleared." The officer said, reading the sheet.
"Sounds good. Thank you." Eugene said. He turned around and walked back to his friends. "We're good, we're good. They're processing for release."
Hiccup chuckled in joy. Teddy wasn't going to get in any trouble and he was safe. This could not have turned out any better, well, besides maybe having all of his fingers attached.
"Yeah, they threw him in the drunk tank. He's fine." Eugene smiled, glad that Hiccup was feeling better. Eugene felt like dick for having this bachelor party turn out so shitty for Hiccup. Hiccup didn't want to do anything in risk of losing Mulan. By losing Teddy, that greatened his chance of not marrying his soul mate. Eugene felt like the cause.
"Sixteen years old, spent a night in jail. Can you imagine?" Hiccup frowned, slightly shaking his head. He rubbed his hands on his legs, feeling terrible for Teddy.
Kristoff laughed, looking out the window. "We love to party."
A big cell door creaked open. An officer pushed an elderly man in a old wheelchair out.
Hearing the creak, Eugene turned around and clapped his hands. "Here we go." He grinned. The officer gently placed the elderly man next to them. "Wait, who's this fucking guy?"
"Teddy Srisai." The officer answered.
"What? No, no, no. I'm so--" Eugene stuttered, looking at who the officer thought was their Teddy. The officer began walking away, ignoring Eugene. "It's the wrong guy, sir."
Eugene glanced at Hiccup, seeing the look of worry coming back. He rushed over to the counter, hoping to save Hiccup. "Excuse me. I'm sorry. Uh, officer, there's been a mistake." He said. He turned and pointed at the man in the wheelchair. "He brought the wrong guy. That's not Teddy."
"Of course it is. We have his IDs and everything." He replied. He then slide forward the evidence, which was a wallet with Teddy's school ID in it. "These were in his pockets when we made the arrest."
Eugene picked it up, Hiccup now hovering behind him. "They were in his pocket?" Eugene asked, pointing at the old man.
Hiccup grabbed the wallet and walked over to the old man slowly. "Excuse me, sir." He said. "How did you get this stuff?" He asked. The old man stayed silent, staring at Hiccup with a soft smile. "Hello?" Hiccup asked louder.
"Teddy doesn't speak." The officer spoke up. "We tried English, Thai, Chinese. Nothing."
"Let me ask you something." Hiccup said, walking up to the window. "Does he look like he works outs at Bally Total Fitness in Palo Alto, California?" He scoffed, slamming it against the window.
