Heaven or Earth?

A streak of light appeared,
I thought I was in heaven finally because the view was really breathtaking.

A beautiful tall lady appeared dressed in a white silk gown adorned with pearls and lotuses.

I thought she's an angel who had come over to take me to a new place.

She smiled at me and asked "Why were you searching for me child?"
I gave her a puzzled look.
"I am the Goddess of rain and who are you?"
I gasped and said "What!? really?
I didn't know I would be able to meet you. I am Evelyn Roy. I'm pleased to meet you."
I smiled and looked at her for some instructions on how I could go back home.
"You didn't tell me why you wanted to meet me so desperately?"
"Well ma'am, actually I wanted to apologise on behalf of human race so please, don't be angry on us and I promise I will protect nature and never waste any food or water."

She laughed a little and said "You're so cute and kind hearted, well I'm not angry at them. These heavy showers are necessary to maintain the balance of nature."
"But grandma said..."
She cut me in between and said
"I know all the tales and legends told by ancestors about us but they are not totally wrong either, we do feel upset when humans don't take care of nature, misuse and exploit it. They must realise the consequence of their actions too."

I looked down at my feet only to realise I was standing on clouds.
I felt so happy and the surface was so soft and feathery that I wanted to sleep on them.

She smiled and blessed me, then she said "Listen I'm giving mankind a chance, make sure you dont waste the powers I'm bestowing upon you, after you turn 18 you'll be able to use the powers at your will. Be careful don't waste it unnecessarily because there's a price for everything and keep your promise always. Child be careful because not everything that you see is real. Secrets will be revealed soon. So prepare for the worst when you will enter adulthood."
Then I smiled and thanked her.
I took her warning as a joke.
Only if I knew it would turn into reality.

I asked her "What powers can I get to use anyway?"
She smiled and patted my head slowly
"Rest for now, my child."

Everything got dissolved slowly until nothing remained.
My mind became totally blank.

I opened my eyes slowly.
I expected the Goddess of rain but instead I found myself in a familiar surrounding.

I was in my room and grandparents were asleep on the chair near my bed.
Albert was asleep on the opposite side of my bed.
