One day it rained heavily.
Most of the drains were clogged and roads were flooded with water.I was in my room making paperboats with Albert.
Grandma entered and sat down near me. She asked "Are you afraid of thunder and storm?"
I replied proudly "No I'm not afraid of anything, I'm a brave child."
Grandma smiled and started telling me story about thunder and rain Gods.
She said that thunder and rain were in love with each other but humans contaminated their atmosphere or so-called home by pollution which enraged them.
So often they expressed their discontent by heavy showers and lightning.
Albert said "I've met the Goddess of rain, she's ravishing and mesmerising but she's also kind and loving."
I turned towards him and almost yelled at him "Hey!! I want to visit her too, can you please take me to her place?""But it's really dangerous and risky, it's not for just mere mortal humans"
I looked at him with a fierce look and asked "What do you mean by mere mortal human?"
"Nothing, but I can't promise you'll be able to find her"
"That's fine, just take me to the place."Grandma looked at me and said in a commanding voice "Today it's not safe so play inside home today, you can visit her tomorrow."
Suddenly grandpa started yelling and grandma had to leave hurriedly.
I walked up to Albert and said "let's go"
"But grandma just told us to stay at home."
"Come on don't be a scaredy cat, I must meet the Gods and apologise for our mistakes."
"Okay, fine."
He rolled his eyes.We sneaked outside while grandparents watched tv.
It was raining cats and dogs.We couldn't even see much further due to mist.
A firefly appeared from nowhere and Albert told me to follow it to reach my destination.
I followed it through thick and thin lanes and streets without noticing how much far I had travelled from home.I was in a dense forest, with tall trees everywhere.Birds were seeking shelter and frogs went into burrows.
The view was beautiful yet devastating as lowland area was flooded. I could see landslides near rhe hilly areas too.
I felt a chill running down my spine.
Also in the nearby river the water had risen to quite some extent. It was on the verge of flooding the nearby banks too.
Suddenly, I realised that I lost track of the firefly.
I asked Albert who was panting because of running after me.
"Where did it go?"
He sighed and said "I told you it was of no use, that place is sacred and cannot be visited by impure earthlings."
"Excuse me?"
He folded his arms and gave me a look which meant what I was doing is rather useless.
I was really stubborn.
So, I kept running here and there in search of it.
Crack, I heard a sound.
I realised I stepped on a rotten bark which broke and I slipped down the slope.
I fell into the river and I screamed for help.
Albert came running but it was of no use , I couldn't reach him.
I didn't know how to swim.
I tried to get hold of something but it was totally useless, the current was strong.
I gulped great volume of water.
Something hit my head, I touched my head and felt like it started bleeding.
Everything became hazzy and turned into darkness.
