Why me?

Invisible but visible Albert

"What? You can see him too"
"Of course I can, I'm not blind"
He rolled his eyes.
"No, that's not the point, the thing is... no one can see Albert except me"
"You should try to crack some better joke than this"
"Wait and watch"

I asked the teacher "Ma'am, did you see someone entering just now?"
"No one can escape my eyes Ms.Roy, so don't worry and sit down"

I sat down and looked at Luke.
"See? I told you.."
"But how can that be possible?"
He gave me a puzzled.
I felt really happy and excited that someone else except me can see him too.
When recess started, I dragged Luke to one of the isolated corners in school. Where students wouldn't bother us. He laughed and said in a teasing way "You're going too fast you know? but I'm ready for a make out session if you insist"
He opened his arms wide.
"Stop fooling around and listen to me carefully"
Then I explained to him everything and Albert arrived.
I introduced them to each other.
They both shook hands and Luke said "You've got firm hands, do you workout everyday?"
I said "I know you're kidding, you can't really feel him I know"
I rolled my eyes.

He said "No, I'm serious... wait I can prove it to you"
He faced Albert and asked him to punch his face.
Albert said "It might hurt you"
Then a fist landed on Luke's left cheek and it swelled after a few seconds.
Then he showed his cheek to me and  said "See, I wasn't lying?.... Aahhh God it hurts, man you're too strong"
Then he placed his hand upon his left cheek and the bell rang....

Luke said "Okay, let's head back to class"
I nodded and said "We'll discuss about this later"

We had to walk really fast because we were really far from class and on top of that we needed to take books from the locker for the class.
Somehow we managed to get in time.
We entered the class together.
Many girls looked at us with wide eyes.
I knew they were jealous because of me getting so close to Luke.
He was really handsome and way better than other guys in our class.
No one could beat his looks and not to forget his charming smile.

I knew they were going to bitch about me again.
Luke and I didn't talk to each other until we were out of school.

I was walking towards home,
Sydney and Luke called me from behind at the same time.
"Hey, wait for me"
I stopped and turned around.
I folded my arms over my chest and waited for those fools.
They ran towards me and asked me "Who's that?"
Then I introduced themselves to each other.
Luke laughed and said "I thought for a second she's some ghost too"
She squinted her eyes at me and asked "You told a new guy about your secret?"
I sighed and said "I will explain you everything over call."
We started off for home.
"Luke, where do you live?"
I asked him out of curiosity.
"I live by the east timber bridge"
"That's not much far from my neighbourhood"
He nodded and smiled at me.
Shit, I blushed again.
We had a long conversation about our neighbourhood until we had to take different lanes.
Albert and Sydney didn't talk much.
It was really weird.

I entered my room and he said "I don't like him, he's too flirtatious"
I giggled, and said "Oh someone's jealous here"
"I can smell danger from him"
"Nice joke"
He gave me a serious look which made him look more handsome.
I threw up my hands in the air and said "Fine fine, no one will ever take your place so don't think so much about him"
His face lightened a bit.
"Cmon, smile now my Alby"
We laughed till our stomach hurt.
We turned on some music and started dancing.
We got tired and took some break.

Rest of the day went as usual...
