"Morning Karian," came a familiar voice. Karian was in his seat with his head down on his arms. He had left early today not wanting to be at home. His father wasn't in a good mood last night because of mission things, so Karian was avoiding him as much as possible.  He turned his head and looked up at Todoroki.

"Sup Shoto," Karian groaned out as he sat up.

"How long have you been here?" Todoroki asked sitting down at his own seat.  Karian just kind of shrugged. He didn't remember what time he came in this morning.

"I know I left before the twins were up and ready," Karian said running a hand through his hair.

"Morning Kimura!" A loud red head boomed as he walked up to his desk. Karian raised an eyebrow up at Kirishima. He didn't understand this guy. No matter how many times Karian dismissed him or ignored him, he kept coming back.

"You need something Kirishima?" Karian asked boredly.

"Was just wishing you a good morning," Kirishima grinned. "What are friends for?"

"Sorry, I don't have friends," Karian said. "We are classmates." Karian turned and looked out the windows. Friends were only a weakness his father would exploit. Having the twins was bad enough.

"Ahh come on," Kirishima said. "Everyone needs friends."

"I told you no," Karian said a bit more firmly.

"Damn Kimura," the electric blonde said. "You're always so harsh. Kirishima is just trying to be friendly."

"It's alright Kaminari," Kirishima said looking at the blonde. "Guess I'm just bothering Kimura."

"It's better for all of you to just stay away from me," Karian said.

"Do you look down on everyone like that?" Kaminari asked.

"I'm not looking down on you," Karian said softly. "I'm protecting you." Todoroki and Kirishima were watching him thoughtfully. Todoroki knowing Karian had a harsh home life. Kirishima had noticed things off about Karian from the get go. He wasn't sure Karian was being distant because he was arrogant like he portrayed.

"Yea right," Kaminari said rolling his eyes. "Protecting us from what?"

"Pray you never find out," Karian grumbled. He stood up from his chair and turned to leave when Aizawa walked in.

"Everyone take your seats!" Aizawa called out. Karian stood there for a moment contemplating sitting back down or walking out. "Something wrong Kimura?"  Karian just let out a heavy sigh and sat back down.

"No sir," Karian said and went back to looking out the windows.

"Well then, I hope you're rested from yesterday's battle trial," Aizawa said. "I took the liberty of looking at your marks and evaluation. Bakugou, stop acting like a seven year old, you're wasting your talent."

"I know," Bakugou grumbled. Karian sighed as he began to zone out. He didn't really care about all this. Next Aizawa reprimanded Midoriya. Then he saw Aizawa giving him a look like he wanted to say something about Karian's match. Karian faced him and looked at him with a bored expression. He watched Aizawa sigh and shake his head.

"Now let's get on with the homeroom notices," Aizawa said. "I'm sorry to have to spring this on you all, but we need to pick a class president." Everyone erupted in chaos. Karian groaned and laid his head down on his desk. He hated how loud and rambunctious they all were.

"BE QUIET!!" Someone yelled and Karian was thankful for it. "This is a task laden with responsibility. Where you must carry and pull everyone else's weight! Just because you'd like to do it doesnt mean you can! It is a holy office that requires the great esteem and trust of those around you! The only truly worthy leader will emerge from a democratic choice reflecting the will of the people!" Now he was just talking to much. Going on and on about a vote. But you know it was better than just everyone yelling and arguing. Karian knew he didn't want the damn position. It was to much work to worry about.
