Karian was already at the Hero office for the Hero he worker under, Endeavor. He was in the training room warming up. He knew Shoto would be showing up soon and Endeavor would be wanting to train. He couldn't believe how easily he could move now. He had forgotten what it was like to not be horribly bruised and hurt. Sure he had a few at the moment because Kenji was frustrated while currently on suspension, but nothing like it was. He formed his blades and went through a few forms.
"It's odd to see you moving so much, Karian," a familiar tone said from the doorway. Karian glanced over to see Shoto and Endeavor.
"This is work," Karian said. "More worth my time than school." He made his blades return to their original shapes around his arms. Shoto looked at him confused until he realized Endeavor had come in with him.
"See Shoto," Endeavor said. "You should be devoted to becoming a hero like Karian here. He puts everything into his internship. Of course his father's training helps." Shoto was the only one who noticed Karian's flinch. "So we will do some training for a couple days and then we will take you out on patrol, Shoto."
"How long has Karian been working here?" Shoto asked.
"What is it, Karian two years now?" Endeavor asked. Karian nodded.
"But I only debuted about 8 months ago. Before that was just training and learning the ins and outs of the office. I even worked the dispatch phones for a couple months." Karian said.
"That's right. Kenji wants you to learn everything to one day open your own agency," Endeavor said. Karian nodded.
"How did you get away with taking a minor out to fight villains?" Shoto asked.
"I went through the provisional licence exam like anyone." Karian said. "They made an age exception since I was recommended by my father and Endeavor."
"None of them expected him to walk away as the top examinee," Endeavor said. "So I have high expectations for you Shoto when you finally take it." Shoto seemed to notice Endeavor was a bit envious that Karian was so good and willing to follow his lessons while Shoto fought him every way he could. Karian rolled his eyes at Endeavors antics. He was trying to use Karian's forced success to try and rile up Shoto to try harder. Karian shook his head knowing it wouldn't work.
----
After a couple days of training and beating Shoto in every mock match, Endeavor said to suit up. They would be going out. Karian was wearing the hero suit he got from school. He liked this one better than the one his father designed he had been wearing before.
They went with Endeavor and headed for hosu city. He had figured out the hero killer's pattern and predicted he would return to Hosu city again. Once they got to Hosu city there was a lot going on besides The Hero Killer.
Three Nomu were attacking the city.
"Nomu? Is the league involved?" Karian said allowed.
"I don't know," Endeavor said. "But we need to stop these monsters. Knight you work on helping citizens evade the immediate area. Make sure none of the Nomu harm them." Endeavor turned to talk to Shoto when they saw him running off. "Where are you going?" Karian shook his head and headed forward. He didn't care why Shoto was running off.
Karian ran into the scene and his metal began to distribute. It moved building debri off people and pointed them in the proper directions. It helped stop falling debri and tossed it off to the side. Karian stood in one spot and continuously looking around to keep track of all his metal.
"Kid Watch out!" Karian heard some old man yell out. Karian jumped and back flipped. He slammed a very heavy boot into the head of the nomu. He crushed the thing into the ground.
