Karian sat on the edge of the the hospital bed. The worst of his injuries and bruising had been healed up. Now he was being released and he wasn't looking forward to it. He slowly stood up and began to pull his clothes on. He had been asked about the abuse and of course he said no. All his injuries were just from training and being on patrol. His face stayed emotionless the entire time he spoke to the officers. He finished getting dressed And pulled on his shoes.
"Let's go boy," Kenji called from the doorway. Karian sighed heavily and grabbed his bag, following his father out of the room. He was being released back to Kenji, much to some other's displeasure. Without Karian admitting to the abuse, they really didn't have any proof. Without proof they couldn't do much on the matter. He followed his father out of the hospital and towards the car.
"Kimura!" someone yelled. Both of them turned around and say Aizawa walking up. Karian looked away like he was uninterested, but in reality he was ashamed. Aizawa believed him and tried to help him, but he couldn't reveal what was going on.
"What do you want Aizawa?" Kenji asked a bit annoyed.
"I don't know how you got Karian to vouch for you," Aizawa said. "But I promise you I will find the proof I need."
"I don't know what your talking about," Kenji smirked. "My son knows he needs training to be the best. He needs to be stronger to accomplish our dream and the only way to do that is through pain and training. So there is no reason to vouch for me. He is just a weakling." He grabbed Karian's shoulder and pushed him forward. "Karian, Apologize for wasting the man's time." Karian glanced back at his father confused.
"He has nothing to apologize for!" Aizawa argued.
"Now boy!" Kenji growled, pushing Karian again. Karian sighed and looked at Aizawa. He bowed deeply to him.
"Forgive me, Aizawa. I am weak and need extra training." Karian said emotionlessly. He hated that he had to do this and felt even more ashamed. "I'm sorry for wasting your time and effort." He stood back up but didn't look at the male. He couldn't meet his gaze.
He hated this.
He hated his father.
But most of all he hated himself.
But he had to do this. To protect the twins.
If Kenji was taken to jail or whatever. What would happen to the twins? Karian wasn't old enough to legally take them. And they had no other family that Karian knew of. They would be taken and put into the system. If that happened he may never see them again. How could he protect them? They were his only reason for living at the moment.
"Give it up Aizawa," Kenji said with a smirk. "I told you that you couldn't do anything. Not my fault you wasted your time."
"I'm not giving up Kimura," Aizawa said. "And neither are the rest of faculty." Karian was surprised at this. Why were they trying so hard?
"Whatever you say, Aizawa," Kenji said turning away. "Sure are going through a lot of trouble for a child that isn't yours."
"He is my student," Aizawa said.

Karian sighed as he got ready for school. Nothing had changed. Except now Kenji was trying different methods of 'training'. In attempt to not leave very visible bruises. Because Karian denied the accusation of abuse they couldn't remove the kids from Kenji's care as their rightful father. The accusation coming from such prominent proheros did cause for investigation. There would be random weekly visits from authorities and all three kids would have check ups and physicals twice a month until things settled down. Kenji wasn't happy about all this crap and just wanted things to go back to normal.
