I saw the two walk in and hid behind the wall. I think I found my new OTP!!

(Aileana POV)

Tails made me so I would need food to refill my battery, and apparently my battery was quite low. As Sonic and I walked towards the dining area, I started to feel funny. I giggled at nothing, and started to walk funny. I started to drop as I walked. I felt dizzy, but everything was funny. Kind of like anesthesia. I hiccuped, laughing at myself.

(Sonic POV)

What was this girl doing? She was stumbling behind me, and when I had turned around to check on her, she was sitting on the ground, staring at the ceiling, giggling. Her eyes weren't shining as bright, and I could immediately tell she wasn't acting like this on purpose.  I knelt down in front of her and held her shoulders. "Aileana?"

She seemed spaced out. She looked at me and laughed. She poked my nose. "You're nose is big, boop!" She laughed. I stared at my noise with wide eyes. ...boop? I shook it off and picked her up bridal style. Tails would know what's wrong with her. I ran to his work shop, Aileana laughing the whole way. I stopped at his door, and luckily saw him cleaning up. "Tails!"

Tails looked at me with a smile. He saw Aileana and put his hands on his hips. "She's already run low on battery?" Is that what that was? My worry went away as Tails walked towards us. "I'm going to have to work on her battery, in the meantime, she'll need to be plugged in to a power source that'll last a few more hours." He snapped his fingers. "You could be her power source! With your speed, you can fill up her battery power within seconds! While I work on getting her a new battery, you could charge her quickly whenever she needs!"

I smiled. "Sounds like a plan to me!" He had me set Aileana on a table, then had me get on the treadmill we use for things like this. He plugged Aileana up, then gave me a thumbs up. "Go slow at first, I don't want to overload her battery." I nodded and started walking, then jogging, then running when Tails gave me the que. She started to bright up, and Tails told me to stop. After he unplugged her, she looked up and around. She looked at Tails. "Did something happen?" I sighed in relief, knowing she was okay.

(Tails POV)

He totally likes her. It's obvious. I don't know if she likes him, but I must say they'd be a cute couple. I smile at the thought of Sonic with shy, timid  Aileana. They're total opposites, as far as I'm aware.

(Aileana POV)

I heard Sonic sigh, but when I looked at him, he seemed fine. Tails explained to me what had happened, and what would happen in the future. I agreed and got up. I thanked them both, then headed put with Sonic. He led me to a dining room. It had multiple tables and plenty of chairs. There were a lot more chairs than people I've met. My nerves kicked in, would I have to meet more people?

Sonic sat me down in the direct center of one of the tables, and I nearly lost it. He sat down next to me, and that's what calmed me down. "Dinner will be done in three, two, one." He pointed his fingers in a finger gun. Why do I remember finger guns, but not a thumbs up? I shook my head as I heard someone yell. "Dinner!" It was Amy. She, Cream, and Bonnie brought in plates of delicious smelling food. My hunger was overwhelming, but I kept it together.

There was hot buttered rolls, chilli dogs, salad, jello, Turkey. It was like a holiday in here! I licked my lips hungrily as everyone sat down. Everyone that I had met so far came and sat down, a long with a few new people. To start with, there was a crocodile with gold chains and earphones. Flying in next to him was a small bee. And then there was a chameleon with a yellow horn on his head. He looked very serious, like the dark hedgehog and red echidna from earlier.

The next two that walked in were two purple cats. One was small and she had a gem on her forehead, the other was carrying a fishing pole. The gem cat looked serious, just like the chameleon.  They all seemed scary. Behind her came in a small racoon. She was full of energy, and seemed happy.  a white bat was walking beside her.

The last two that walked in were a squirrel and an armadillo. They kind of reminded me of Sonic and Tails. It looked like they had a similar relationship. Everyone settled down into what seemed like assigned seats, but I'm just assuming they normally just sat in these spots instead of having assigned seats like children. Everyone was talking amongst themselves as someone sat in the seat on the other side of me. I went stiffs, and quickly got a glimpse of who was by me.

It was the armadillo. He was talking with the squirrel from earlier, and I could hear then laughing between one another. The chipmunk woman, Sonic told me her name was Sally, cleared her throat and got everyone's attention. When all was quiet, she started speaking. "Some if you don't know, but we have a new member." She looked at me and my mind went blank. She smiled and motioned me to stand. I did as I was told. "This is Aileana. Please be kind to her, and keep patient with her as she cannot remember her past." Sally looked at the black and red hedgehog who just rolled his eyes.

I quickly sat back down, looking at my hands in my lap. Sally spoke again. "On behalf of our newest member Aileana, we'll have a fiest." Everyone looked happy, and started to mingle in excitement,  especially the crocodile. "Everyone dig in!" Sally sat down and everyone started to get their food. I waited patiently, as to not get in the way. Sonic noticed I wasn't going after the food, and tilted his head.

"Ain't ya hungry?" I smiled. "I'll wait until everyone has their's, so I'm not in the way." "Pshhhh." Sonic smirked. "You're the guest if honor, you get yours." I lightly blushed in embarrassment, as everyone had stopped and looked at me. I spoke timidly. "I-it's alright, you all get yours.."  "You sure?" The armadillo next to me questioned. I nodded. Everyone continued to get their food. After I got mine, a hand appeared in front of me. I looked at where the hand came from, and saw the armadillo with his hand stretched.

"Names Mighty. It's nice to meet you Aileana." I smiled nervously and gently took his hand. "It's nice to meet you as well Mighty." Little did I know, the blue hedgehog on my other side was getting a bit jealous of Mighty.
