I pet her head as she rambled. I picked her up bridal style, and looked at the others. They gave her looks of sympathy, then Rotor nodded. "We need to get out of here, now. Robotnik knows we're here, and has blocked off all the vents." I looked at the door. "Then we'll have to bust out." "Wait." Rotor walked up to me, and removed something from Aileana's neck. "A shock collar." I held Aileana closer. "Let's go."

(Sonic POV)

I held onto Aileana as we ran out of the room we found her in. Robotnik knows we're here, so we have to be extra careful. As we exit the room, some badniks and swat bots surround us. I look at Knuckles, and he immediately jumps on one of the bots. I hand Aileana to Rotor, and join Knuckles and Bonnie on destroying them. "Sonic, there's too many!" I turn to Rotor and see him trying to fend off three swat bots. Quickly, I destroy them, gently taking Aileana back from Rotor.

"Guess we're just gonna have to get out without the fun." I smirk as I say, leading the gang to another room. When we enter, we see a ton of ships and aircrafts. The door slams down behind us, causing us all to jump a little. Then the nasty, evil laugh we all know echoed through the room. I growled. "Robotnik." He laughed again as he stepped into the light. "Well well well," he spoke in an amused voice, "Sonic the hedgehog. What a pleasure to see you." "Let us go Robotnik!" Knuckles yelled.

Robotnik only shook his finger. "Tch tch tch, Knuckles. Weren't you taught any manners?" Knuckles growled as he stepped forward. I glanced back at him, causing him to stop. I looked at Robotnik again. "Let us go, Robotnik." Robotnik laughed. "You think I'll let you go that easily!? Give me the robot, hedgehog, and the rest of you can go." "No way! She doesn't want to be here, and I don't blame her! Look what you did to her! And by the way, she's more than a robot, Robuttnik, she's one of us." His smirk only grew. 

"Maybe I didn't make myself clear." Snapping his fingers, we heard bots walk towards us from the shadows. We gasped, not expecting to see Sally in their grasp. "Sal! Are you okay!?" She struggled and grunted. "I'm fine." "Where are the others?" "They've kind of got their hands full Sonic." I looked at Robotnik. He only smiled. "Give me the robot, or the princess gets it." I looked at Sally, then at Aileana. My grip tightened on her unconscious body. Turning my head, I looked at the rest of the crew. Knuckles nodded, as did Rotor and Bonnie, and the three got into a fighting stance.

I turned back to Robotnik with a smirk. "Sorry, Robuttnik. But she's not staying in your crappy hotel any longer." I ran as fast as I could past him, yelling "There's not even a hotel spa for her to clean up! He yelled and pointed at me. "Get him!" The swat bots hold out their guns, but I heard Knuckles yell and slam into the ground, sending out a shock wave. I only smile as I dodge everything in my path. I made it out of the base, running into the desert side of the land. So many metal scraps and ruins, it disgusted me. I made sure to use my surroundings to make it back to the forest without being seen. 

(Aileana POV)

I slowly regained consciousness, my head feeling like it was going to explode, my eyes fading in and out of clearity. I saw peach colored fur, surrounded by blue. "S......Son........" My voice kept glitching. I looked up at his face, and he looked down at mine. His mouth moved, but I couldn't hear him. Why would he save me after what I did to Tails.. I groaned and buried my face into his chest, slowly blacking out.

(Sonic POV)

"Don't worry Aileana..." I pulled her closer. "I've got you ..." She groaned and buried her face into my chest, causing my face to heat up a little. How could I have let this happen to her...

(Third person POV)

-Back at Robotnik's base-

As soon as Sonic ran, the three heroes started to fight the swat bots. The rest of the rescue team soon closed in, noticing Sally in the swat bots' grasp. Shadow was the first to take action. Taking off his inhibitor rings, everyone knew to stand out of his way. He ran towards to bots holding Sally, instantly destroying them. He caught the princess as she fell, setting her down on her feet gently.

(Sally POV)

"Thank you Shadow." He nodded and returned his wrings to his wrists and ankles. "Princess, we need to leave immediately." I nodded and got on one of the dead robots. "Everyone move for the exit!" Knuckles yelled a reply. "But the bots are still active!" "We don't have time! There's too many of them!" Everyone followed my orders. The door was slowly closing, and I was the first to make it. I stood at the door, helping everyone crawl under quickly. "Go go go!" After everyone was out, I followed, barely missing the door. We ran for cover, hiding before the bots saw us. Thankfully, we all made it into the the woods without being seen.
