"Get her back... She needs us..." Then, he slowly closed his eyes. I started to freak out, but Rotor spoke up. "The pain killers make him drowsy, he's just sleeping." I sighed and stood up.

"You heard the kid." I looked Sally dead in the eye. "She needs our help."

(Sonic POV)

"Are you mad!?" Knuckles yelled in the meeting room."That girl nearly killed Tails, and you want her back!?" I slammed my hands on the table. "Tails wants her back too! Not just me!" Sally stood up. "Both of you, calm down and sit." We both reluctantly did as we were told. What was Knuckles's problem? We both knew it was the right thing to get her back, but he refused to do so. "Sonic, I'm afraid Knuckles is right. We can't risk our lives to save the robot Aileana has become."

"And what about the mobian Aileana is?" Mighty stood up as he spoke. "We shouldn't just be saving her because she's a threat to us. We should be saving her because we are the freedom fighters, and we save those in need. Aileana is our friend, and only saving her because we feel threatened by her will only make matters worse."

Mighty looked at me and smiled. I smiled back, standing up with him. "Mighty's right. If it were one of us, we would save them because we care for them. Not because they're dangerous." I walked and stood by Mighty. "I am going to save her because I care." I raised my hand. "Who's with me?" I looked around the room, waiting for hands to rise. Mighty didn't hesitate as his hand went in the air. We smiled at each other again. I saw another hand go up.

"I'm in." Amy stood up and walked over to us. "Me too." Rotor followed soon behind Amy. Silver slowly stood and raised his hand. "I don't know Aileana very well, but she is a person worth saving." I smiled as Antoine, Bunnie, Espio and Vector all came with us. The only ones left were Sally, Knuckles, and Shadow. "And what about you guys?"

(Aileana POV)

I woke up to the sound of buzzing and sparks. I looked around, and screamed. I was in a cell, that felt familiar, but didn't at the same time. I was panicking, and I needed to calm down. I slowly and shakily stood up, keeping myself close to the wall. I couldn't hear the buzzing on my right ear, and my vision looked cracked. What happened..? I hesitantly walked to the only door way, but something told me not to go through. The last person I was with...

"Tails?" I called out, my voice echoing the halls. It was all glitchy, and it made me jump back. Then, a foul, disgusting laugh followed my call. I knew that laugh. But who did it belong to? I heard footsteps coming closer, the laugh becoming louder. I nervously backed away from the door, not wanting to know who is was.

Soon, a large, egg-shaped man appeared in the doorway, his smile disgustingly creepy. He seemed familiar, but I didn't remember him at all. "You have been a real pain in my neck, (Y/N)." I tilted my head as he said the name. He laughed. "That's right, you have no memory of me or your past life!" He walked into the room, and I got into a defense mode.

"Oh, relax. You know you couldn't take me on." I held my ground. He only rolled his eyes, continuing with his story. "I didn't realize how strong you were, both physically and mentally." "What do you want from me!?" I yelled. He slapped me. "How dare you raise your voice at me!" I fell to the ground and held my face. I looked up at him in fear as he grabbed me by the neck.

"I am your master, and you will never disobey me like that again! You belong to me! Is that clear!?" I tried to make him let go of my neck. (Not that you need air..) I finally gathered the courage to talk back to him. "I will never belong to you...." He gritted his teeth as he dropped me. I grabbed my neck and looked up at him. "Metal!"

I froze as I saw him. He was the only one I remembered before all of this mess. His red, beady eyes were staring into mine. I screamed as he grabbed me within a second, raising me into the air and slamming me into the ground. My right eye was completely broken now, and I could barely see out of my left. 

I was kicked in the stomach, and was rammed into the wall. My hearing was gone, as my remaining ear broke from the impact. I saw Robotnik raise his hand, and metal stopped. The fat man's mouth moved, but I could only hear static. He smiled as he looked at my terrified figure, then left with metal. I hugged my knees to my chest as I sobbed, knowing that I was going to be here for a long time.

(Sonic POV)

"I can't believe you talked me into this." Knuckles said as we reached Robotnik's base. I smiled at him winked. "I knew you cared about her, even just a little." He rolled his eyes. The plan was simple, one team distract, one team rescue. I was on the rescue team with Knuckles, Bunnie, and Rotor. Everyone else was distracting. Rotor was currently hacking the security system, so we all were waiting.

"And we're in." He nodded at us as we went through one of Robotnik's secret security hatches. This specific hatch led to the ventilation system. We all quietly crawled through, me being in the lead. We crawled, looking in each vent opening. I started to get nervous until I heard a quiet sob. I motioned everyone to stop, and I looked into one of the vents. 

My heart sank as I saw metal ram Aileana into the wall. Robotnik raised his hand, and Metal returned to his side. He smiled. "You had to learn the hard way, but be happy you learned." He laughed, then walked out of the room with metal. Aileana sobs were louder, and I wanted to jump down and hold her close. 

I waited for a few moments, to make sure Robotnik was gone. I then knocked on the vents to get her attention. Nothing. I knocked a little louder. Same result. I opened the vent, careful not to make any noise. I quietly jumped down, signaling to the others to follow. They all landed as quietly as I did. Bunnie and Knuckles took guard at the door, and Rotor contacted Sally. I kneeled in front of Aileana, trying not to scare her

"Aileana...?" I whispered, but to no avail. I gently put my hand on her shoulder. She jumped and nearly screamed. I covered her mouth with my hand as I put my finger over my mouth to tell her to stay quiet. Her eyes frantically scanned me. Without warning, she lunged for me, hugging me so tight and sobbing loudly. I held her close, holding in my tears. I could hear her whispering. "I can't hear. I can barely see. I'm sorry. Take me home please don't leave me here." 

I pet her head as she rambled. I picked her up bridal style, and looked at the others. They gave her looks of sympathy, then Rotor nodded. "We need to get out of here, now. Robotnik knows we're here, and has blocked off all the vents." I looked at the door. "Then we'll  have to bust out." "Wait." Rotor walked up to me, and removed something from Aileana's neck. "A shock collar." I held Aileana closer. "Let's go."
