"Names Mighty. It's nice to meet you Aileana." I smiled nervously and gently took his hand. "It's nice to meet you as well Mighty." Little did I know, the blue hedgehog on my other side was getting a bit jealous of Mighty.

(Aileana POV)

After dinner, I helped everyone clean up, well, I tried anyway. Whenever I would grab something to help, someone would take it and say "I've got it" or "let me get that for you." It was very sweet of all of them, but I feel a little bad for not helping. Not wanting to get in the way, I headed to the living room. Slowly, they all made their way out of the kitchen and into the living room. They piled on to the couches and the floor and extra chairs.

"So, Aileana." Mighty sat down next to me on the couch, while Ray sat next to him. "How are ya doing so far?" He had a smile on his face, which made me smile. "I'm doing fine, thank you. I'm still getting used to this body though. It doesn't feel.... what's the word..." "Familiar?" Mighty said with a tilted head. I smiled more. "That's it!" Mighty and I both chuckled. Ray looked over Mighty's shoulder. "So you were human?" He asked. Mighty glared daggers at him, and I giggled. "It's okay, Mighty. And yes, I was a human. Though I don't remember anything about it."

Ray smiled. "That's pretty cool." I nodded. That's when the alarms went off. I looked around in a panicked state. Everyone quickly stood up. "What's going on?" I looked at Mighty, looking for some explanation. Sonic and Sally came running in. "Robotnik is destroying more of the forest. Everyone get ready." Sonic ran over to me. "Stay here and don't leave the building." "But I want to help-" "Don't. Leave." His voice was so stern and demanding

"Vector, Espio, and Knuckles, you go through the east side of the woods, get around behind him. Amy, Blaze, Bonnie, you come with me to the northeast side. Antoine, Mighty and Sonic, go to the south side, face him directly. Shadow and Rouge, go to the southwest side. Everyone else stay in this building. Do not go outside. Go!" Sally said in an authoritative way. I watched, wishing I could help, as they all left.

I sighed and sat down in the couch. Tails and Ray pouted. "They always make us stay." Tails pointed out. Charmy was already sitting back on the floor, watching TV. "Well at least they don't have to worry about us." Cream said as she sat on the couch next to Big. Ray shrugged his shoulders. "Still wish we could fight with them." Big was playing a cross word puzzle. I wonder why he didn't go. Maybe to help the other four stay safe?

Big put down his paper. "We have this discussion every time. You know they want to keep you all safe so you can live happily." He started his cross word again. I looked at the two. "Then how come Tails got to go last time?" Ray said accusingly. Big didn't look away from his puzzle. "Because Sonic decided to give him a small lesson." "Then why don't I get one?" "Mighty needs to decide when he feels your ready." Ray didn't say anything after that. A few minutes later, all four of the kids were distracted by the TV.

I think that was the most Big had spoken since I've met him. They were all so nice and patient with me.. I got up and walked to the window. I wish I could go and help. But I would get in the way..

Suddenly, my vision started to go blurry and I felt dizzy. I leaned on the wall, trying to keep balance. Then my head started to hurt. The pain was unbearable, it was like someone was repeatedly stabbing my brain. I yelled in pain and grabbed my head, falling to my knees. I heard the kids freak out and Big run to me. I was lifted in the air bridal style, and was lowered onto the couch.

Tails put his hand on my forehead and tried talking to me, but I couldn't hear him. There was a loud ringing in my ears, and my vision was starting to go red. Even in my blurry state, I could see Tails eyes widen in shock. I read his lips as he spoke. What I saw him say scared me. Her eyes are red. Suddenly, one thought came to my mind: kill them all.

My body was shakingly violently. So violently that Big had to hold me still. I couldn't speak. I was fighting the urge to follow the precious thought, but it was to much. I mentally screamed as my body lost control of itself. My vision was completely surrounded in a deep red instead of the previous light green. My arm was raised, and aimed at Ray. (Tails had given me weapons to help in battle if needed). My arm blaster turned on and right before I fired, Big moved my arm.

Tails ran to me while speaking on his communicator. I still couldn't hear him. Big kept me still, my body frantically trying to pry from his grasp. Everyone was panicked. Cream was hiding under the table with Cheese, crying. Charmy was behind the couch, while Ray was trying to help Tails. I kept fighting the instinct to kill them, and I slowly heard Tails voice. He was talking to someone on his communicator. Just then, Sonic burst through the door. He looked serious around the room, then at me.

He quickly hurried over to me as my body shook more and more, Big's grip starting to loosen. Somic knelt in front of me and put his hands on my shoulders. I could hear him perfectly. "Aileana. I know you can hear me. Fight Robotnik's calls. It's going to be okay. You just gotta hang on."

My body stopped shaking as I was able to take control of myself. My vision slowly went back to the light green, which most likely meant my eyes were normal. I looked around, my face and feelings full of guilt. I felt my eyes water as I started to cry. I held myself and sobbed, not caring what happened to me. Sonic held me close, not saying a word as I sobbed. No one said anything. All the noise that was in the room was the T.V and my sobs.
