[I am dedicating this story to my favorite niece and nephew, Emily and Ben Aaron. They are special to me, even the title of this story 'The New Jedi Knights' is in their honor. Emily and Ben, may the Force be with you.]

Saving Earth from the Death Star's shadow left Sam and Brandon drained. All they desired was a respite, a chance to unwind from the constant tension. Thankfully, someone recognized their need. They weren't just encouraged to take a vacation, they were ordered to. Time to decompress and savor the hard-won peace.

Jack protested, "Every time we do something like this we end up having to save the planet once more. We should get back to the same routine, whatever that is for a Jedi."

This time, Samantha got upset with his protesting. She sternly said to him, "Jack, if we don't take a vacation, I will turn to the Dark-side just to kick your ass!"

He looked like he got his feelings hurt and replied, "Since you put it that way, we'll go."

Fury pulsed through her. With a flick of her wrist and a surge of the Force, the entire cooler, not far from them, erupted. A torrent of ice-cold water engulfed him, leaving him dripping and sputtering.

General Hammond smiled, "If only you could use the Force when I was in command of the SGC."

Everyone there laughed.

Jack commented with a smile, "I surrender. We'll go on a vacation."

She smiled, "We'll first take Jerry and Barbara to Yavin 4. Since Jerry is retired from teaching, they said they wanted to live there for the rest of their lives. I also want to stay there in that galaxy for several days. I want to confront my past there once and for all. I'll be able to be here on Earth in the way I should."

It pleased Ituor and Tumok that she would make peace with her past and wanted to get back to Earth where she belonged. "You're welcome to stay as long as you want and allowed to visit anytime," Ituor said to both of them.

Expressing their gratitude for his kindness, they both agreed to his offer. With a flick of her wrist, she channeled the Force, gathering the spilled water that clung to Jack and drenched the floor. In a swift motion, it all surged back into the cooler, leaving a damp chill in its wake. Her gaze met his, a steely glint in her eyes. "Don't expect a repeat performance next time," she warned.

Jack asked Tumok, "How did you get her to behave?"

He answered carefully, "I didn't. That's why I had the biggest grin when you married her."

She gave both of them a devilish smile.

Jedi Master Brandon Bowers was with his parents helping them pack. "Mom and Dad, this might be a curse turned into a blessing," He said to them with a smile.

Jerry replied, "We had plans to sell the house and move somewhere else, anyway. Thanks to Princess Sofith, it won't cost us anything to live there. We told her, we would pay something for it. She insisted that it's a gift to allow her to be a part of our family."

Brandon's Holocron communication device went off. He answered it. Sam showed up on the display. He asked, "How are things with you?"

"I want to take a long vacation from what we have been through."

"Same here. When you get here, we will have everything packed and ready to go."

"The reason for me calling you... Jack and I will stay in that galaxy for a while."

"You want me to stay here on Earth, so you and Jack can have time by yourselves?"

It was several moments before she answered, "The reason for going back... I need to face the horrors I've been through for the last time."
