As the seven of them were looking for a means of staying alive, Jack had a serious question that ran through his mind. He said to everyone,
"Have you all noticed that we aren't on Ambria."
Sam asked him,
"Where are we, then?"
"When we first got here a strong breeze hit us in the face. We aren't underground."
"Jack is right. We're somewhere else. We must find out where."
Ben replied.
As the dense emerald canopy of the vast forest parted, the travelers emerged onto the outskirts of a city unlike any other — a metropolis that eclipsed even the grandeur of Chicago and New York. Towering crystalline spires stretched toward the heavens, their surfaces shimmering with an iridescent glow, as if they were woven from pure energy. Suspended walkways and bridges crisscrossed the skyline, connecting massive domed structures that floated effortlessly above the city streets.
Master Jedi Samantha O'Neill stood in quiet awe, her sharp eyes tracing the intricate patterns of luminescent symbols that pulsed across the structures, shifting in complex sequences as if the city itself was alive. Beside her, her husband, Jack O'Neill — once a hardened Colonel of the U.S. Air Force, now a humble Padawan — let out a low whistle.
"Well,"
Jack muttered, adjusting his Jedi robe,
"I thought I'd seen it all."
Brandon Bowers, now closer than ever to Master Jedi Nomi Sunrider, exchanged a glance with her, sensing the sheer power radiating from the city. His niece and nephew, Emily and Ben Aaron, both Padawans, took cautious steps forward, their young faces reflecting wonder and curiosity.
Daniel Jackson, the experienced archaeologist, took a deep breath, his fingers itching to document every detail.
"This... this isn't just a city."
He murmured, his voice filled with reverence.
"It's a living testament to an advanced civilization beyond anything we've ever known."
At the city's heart, a vast tower of translucent metal and light pulsed with energy, its surface etched with intricate carvings — stories of ages past, triumphs and struggles, wisdom passed down from generations before. Even a ghost town, the streets below were paved with smooth obsidian-like stone, humming softly as they carried travelers effortlessly through the city. As seeing through the Force, as if the ones who used to live there wanted them to see, hovering platforms, piloted by unseen forces, drifted gracefully through the sky, ferrying citizens to and from towering sanctuaries of knowledge and power.
But what truly set this city apart was the unmistakable sense of harmony — a balance of nature and technology so seamlessly interwoven that not a single tree had been felled to make way for progress. Massive waterfalls cascaded down the sides of buildings, their waters recycled through intricate channels of glowing liquid light. Verdant gardens flourished atop structures, their roots entwining with the very fabric of the city itself, creating an ecosystem in perfect equilibrium.
Nomi Sunrider reached out through the Force, her expression serene yet filled with intrigue.
"This place... it's not just advanced. It's ancient. And it carries the echoes
of the Force in every stone, every light, every whisper of the wind."
Brandon nodded, feeling the same hum of energy vibrate through his core.
"Then we are meant to be here,"
He said softly.
"for what purpose, I don't yet know... but this city — whatever its name may
be — holds secrets that could change the very fabric of the galaxy."
From what Brandon had just said, a strange feeling stirred within her. I should know this place... The thought lingered, elusive yet insistent, like a whisper in the wind. When they had all witnessed the ghostly remains of what had transpired here, it hadn't felt like mere history — it felt personal, as though she had been a part of it.
