"Let's order some pizza." I told her. We ordered a local pizza and got it delivered. We sat on my dining table and ate.
"So what happened between you and Mark. I guess you finally ran away." I asked her referring to her prior comment of getting away from him.
"He's a shithead. I got tired of the cheating and apologizing. So I just left. Like you! Enough about me. How's things here? Have you seen the car?"
"We'll talk about it tomorrow. I don't wanna talk about it right now. I've had a shitty day."
"Come one stop being a bitch." She says.
"Okay fine. He came back."
"That's it?"
"No he came back, tried telling me he missed me. Then he got kicked out."
"You kicked him out?"
"No my neighbor did." At this point she was very confused.
"I'm lost. Your neighbor kicked him out from your house?"
"Yes."
"A guy?"
"Yes."
"So who is this neighbor of yours" she asked with a smirk.
"He's married."
"(Gasp). Even better." She says.
"You're disgusting, anyway I work tomorrow morning so I'm going to bed."
"Okaayyy neighbor" she said. I did my nightly routine and went to bed.
Next Day
Today during work, I saw more of Tara than I would've liked to. All we did was stare at each other when we passed by. After a long day, I called Stacy to pick me up since I still didn't have my car.
"I'm sorry, the voicemail you are trying to reach has not been set up yet. Goodbye." I kept hearing in a monophonic tone. That fucking sucks. I started walking.
During my walk, I passed by the shop since it was close. I didn't go inside, but I just wanted to pass by.
"Jesus Christ. Do you ever stop?" I heard a voice.
"I was just leaving Gemma."
"Get inside." She demanded.
"Where ya headed?"
"To my house. I just got off work." She drove over to my house.
"Thanks for the ride." I said as I was getting out.
"If you don't want to be known as the charming tramp, stay away from Jax. Go find yourself some dick. We've got plenty at the club house." I didn't reply and walked back to my house.
Hours later after my nap, I wake up to a bunch of noice coming from the living room. I get up and see Stacy and Christian watching TV. What.
"Oh hey, I thought you'd be sleeping all night." Stacy said nervously. I looked at Christian and started dialing my phone. Stacy got up and snatched my phone.
"What the fuck bitch give me my phone."
"Relax Lea. He's not here for you." She said. She looked at him and smiled. "He's here for me."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"He was actually coming back to give you your Mercedes that he borrowed. We went on a joy ride on it and now we're watching TV." I wasn't able to quite process what's happening here.
"So can we go back to our movie?" She asked and sat down, as well as Christian. They acted as if nothing was wrong. I stepped outside and threw up. Probably the nerves.
"Jesus Christ" I heard a voice. It was Jax. He looked at me and he looked at the car and already knew what was happening. He started storming in.
"No—no Jax it's okay. My roommate is in there with him. She actually seems like she likes him. I just can't be in there right now."
"Mar he wants to hurt you. He took your car."
"I know, I just don't know what to do."
"Kick them out. Now." Why was I such a weak bitch? Jax looked at me and broke inside my door.
"I thought I told you to never come back asshole" and he grabbed him and started beating him. Stacy started screaming, Gemma came running as soon as she heard the screams, followed by three other members. He kept beating and beating him. All I saw was blood on my brand new floors.
"Break it up" Gemma told the guys.
"Come on Jacky Boy, we've had a long night." Chibs tells Jax as he pulls him away from Christian. Stacy is on the floor crying trying to help him. Why did she care for much after everything I've told her?
"Get him to St. Thomas." Gemma told her. Stacy dragged him to her little car.
"Why the hell are you risking your life for this whore?!" Gemma asked Jax right on front of me.
"Ma!" He screamed at her. Gemma looked at us and went inside.
"Go inside with her." He told his crew.
"Brother-"
"Now!" He interrupted their sentence. It was just him and I now.
"I can't keep coming to your rescue. I can't risk my marriage for you."
"I didn't ask you to." I said offended. "I'm sorry if this is getting out of hand for you, but why do you keep helping me? You know how your wife feels. You knew that this asshole was gonna come back."
"I don't know Marilyn." I looked at him while he looked like he was thinking.
"You should probably go home before Gemma or Tara start suspecting us. I told him. He nodded his head; gave me a kiss on my forehead which he was never done before.
"Goodnight doc." He said and left. Great, now I'm stuck cleaning up all this blood.
