"JACOB WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING THAT IS TAKING SO LONG?" I yelled up the stairs.

We were about to be late to our double date. Jacob came running down the stairs.

"Hair..." He looked in the mirror by the door, "has to be fleek" He turned to me, winked and smiled.

"Go get in the car." I pointed to the door.

When I got in the car, I could smell Jacob's cologne. I really loved it because it had a touch of musk.. not too much.. not too little, it was just right.

"Wow, you smell great." I bit my lip and started the car. I had to keep myself together.

"Well thank you," Jacob leaned over and kissed my neck. "You always smell fantastic yourself."

I zoned out and forgot to answer him.

"Hello?"

"Oh, i'm sorry babe."

"You okay? You seem a bit nervous?"

"Yeah yeah.. i'm fine..."

"No you aren't. What's wrong? Are you scared your friend won't like me?"

"No. I know she will." That was just it. Flo and I always have problems with guys. The ones i'm with always end up leaving me for her. She's so beautiful and guys are pigs and can't help themselves. "She will.." I grabbed his hand and squeezed it. I can't lose him.

We got to Applebee's as soon as I parked, Jacob jumped out of the car like a toddler at McDonald's.

"Yesssssss." He threw his fist into the air.

I grabbed his hand and walked up to the front.

Flo was standing by herself so I went ahead and said hi and introduced Jacob.

"Where is this mystery guy?" I poked her.

"He is around the corner." She looked at her phone.

Jacob went to the bathroom which left me and Flo waiting for her guy.

"So what's this guy's name?"

"Dylan"

"Dylan? Nice. I had a-"

"Your turtle." She laughed. "When he told me his name I immediately imagined your turtle in your pocket at school."

We were both laughing when Dylan came up to us.

"How are you on this fine night, beautiful?" He kissed Flo's cheek. "Hello, i'm Dylan." He shook my hand.

"Guys, yall will never guess what the soaps are shaped li- BRUUUUH" Jacob pointed at Dylan with both hands.

"AYYYY!" Dylan pointed back and they hugged. "What's up man?"

"Nothing just living life, being happy." Jacob pulled me closer to him.

"Wait are we all together? This is the group of four?" Dylan pointed at all of us.

"So cool." Jacob nodded as he smiled.

After conversing about nothing for 5 minutes we all went inside and sat down where the waiter told us to. It was a booth with Jacob and Dylan on one side and Flo and I on the other. Flo ordered a raspberry tea, I ordered a water, Jacob and Dylan both ordered a Cola.

Flo was nonstop glaring at Jacob, but not in her seductive way, it was more of a 'I don't trust you' type of glare that she used to give girls at school.

"So..." Jacob smiled.

"So?" Flo said.

"Okay, elephant in the room: How do y'all know each other?" She pointed back and forth between them.

"Oh," Dylan wrapped his arm around Jacob's neck, "we were on tour together." Dylan smiled real big and let go of Jacob.

Jacob's eyes widened and he gulped.

"Tour?" Flo laughed and sat back. "you make it sound like you're famous or something."

"Well," Dylan started.

"We went on tour places to uh.. help with.. um" Jacob coughed and started sweating a little bit.

Just as I was about to ask him why he was lying, the waitress came up to us.

"I'm Lydia and i'll be your server today. Can i start you out with any appetizers?" She winked at Jacob which really pissed me off.

"Babe, do you want anything?" I grabbed Jacob's hand. He wasn't even looking at her.

"Yeah, you want cheese sticks?" He held my hand and looked me in the eyes.

I nodded and looked back at the waitress who was now looking at me.

"We'll take an order of cheese sticks."

She faked a smile and walked away.

Jacob smiled at me and giggled a bit because he knows how jealous I get.

I think Flo forgot about the whole tour thing so I didn't bring it up because I want to know the truth and I don't want to make a scene.

In the middle of Dinner, Flo and Dylan went to go make out and stuff in the bathroom so Jacob and I paid our check and left.

"I can't believe they left like that." Jacob laughed.

"I believe it. Sometimes Flo can't help herself." I hugged Jacob from the side as we walked to the car.

We got in the car and it was still bothering me that he was lying so obviously as if he knew I was going to fin out the truth.

I looked over to him in the passenger seat and just stared at him as he struggled to put his seatbelt on. When he finally caught me I kissed his cheek.

"I don't think we should go home yet." I started the car.

"Why not? I smell gooooood." Jacob winked.

"Shut up." I shoved him. "I don't want to go home yet."

I drove to a place where I went when I couldn't go anywhere else. It was this old treehouse in the middle of this park. The park used to be nice until a kid got attacked by a dog. Now only a few people come like the ones who workout or like to read outside in the quiet.

I parked in the parking lot and got out.

"Is this safe?" Jacob was hiding behind the car door.

"It's a park, Jacob." I rolled my eyes and kept walking.

I had to go back and grab him by the hand for him to come. 6'2 and scared of tall grass... how rare.

We made it to the treehouse and we sat up there for a while without talking.

"So this is where you came when you felt helpless?" Jacob looked at me.

"Yeah." I nodded and a tear fell down my cheek.

"Hey," Jacob wiped my tear away. "I'm here for you. Don't feel alone. I'm right here." He pulled me in closer to him.

"Why do you smell so good?" I laughed.

"Why is it a problem? Do i turn you oooooon?" Jacob shimmied.

"Oh god... Well not when you do that." I laughed. "But you do." I kissed him.

"Wait.. really?" He was staring at my lips. "Y/N, don't play with my emotions like that."

"I'm not." I straddled him as I kissed him.

I took of his shirt and started kissing down his torso.

I'll spare the details, but yes, that was the first time Jacob and I had sex in a tree house in the middle of a park.
