Was friends with Kokichi before the killing game. She helped his with his crush on Shuichi cuz all three of them take the same train and they all get in at the same platform. So when Kokichi finally gets with Shuichi, Kokichi starts ignoring Miu and so she gets jealous and when she learns of Shuichi an Kokichi entering Danganronpa together she also enters to get Kokichi back.
