"Incident" [Canceled Series]

     Nick and Eva reappeared in a flash of light. Nick kept his arm around Eva and smirked. Eva still looked like she was recovering from teleporting. Her head ached and her eyes returned to normal. When she noticed she was still in Nick's hold she quickly jumped away and looked around. What she saw amazed her. 

     The two of them were standing in an air bubble at what looked like the bottom of the ocean. Light shown in like a skylight for a house. In the air bubble was what looked like a pretty normal living space. The bubble itself was pretty large so all the furniture was separated by empty space in the middle of the, "room." On one side was a twin size bed and desk where books and papers were scattered around. On the opposite side was a small couch facing the wall. A TV on a raised dresser was turned off in front and facing the couch. In front of the couch was a coffee table on a soft rug. The rest of the floor in the air bubble was hard concrete. And at another side was a bookshelf full of books and a comfy chair on another rug in front of it. 

     "Welcome to my place." Nick said happily as he gestured to the space around them. His eyes were normal again too. 

     "This is where you live?" Eva asked as she looked around at the bubble they were in in awe. 

     "Yep. And since you got yourself caught, it might have to be your place too." He said as if he was trying to sound annoyed by it. 

     "Wait what!? Why can't I go back?!" Eva asked, a bit worried and annoyed at the same time. 

     "Because, you were seen using your powers. And they will be hunting you now. And now, they will be hunting me!" Nick said, this time actually annoyed. But a part of him suddenly seemed excited at the same time and he couldn't help but smile slightly. 

     "Well then why did you save me if you knew you would get in trouble too?! And why do I have powers?! How!?-" Eva's questions began to poor out. 

     "Woah, woah, woah, one at a time!" Nick chuckled." ... 1: I like you and couldn't just let them do whatever experiments on you. And 2: you and I both were born with our powers. I just learned how to use mine before you did." The first answer was surprisingly honest and it kind of annoyed Eva. 

     "Well, how did we get our powers then? What are they? How do you know this stuff? Are there others? What is going on?!-" 

     "Calm down Eva. I will explain... Long story short, there are multiple universes. Each one has this powerful thing called the 'Gem Star,' which protects 'The Garden of Eden' or something. In most universes it is still in tact, but in severla of them, it exploded. In most of those, the power from the Gem went into some baby that when he grew up, called himself 'Haro-bryan,' or something like that. But in this one, it blew up several years later. Exactly when we were born. Eva, we both have the exact same birthday. Not just the same day, but the same milisecond. We are closer in age than twins are. And when we were born, the power from the gem became a part of us. Now, we have the power to do anything." 

     "How do you know all of this?" Eva asked. 

     "It was a part of the powers. Once you learn enough, it will all be clear to you too."

     "How did you know I was the other person?" Eva asked slowly. 

     "My powers also helped me with that. But I wasn't sure if I was right when I finally found you so I decided to go undercover to make sure. I figured I could also get to know you that way too. But you are a lot tougher than I thought." When Nick said that Eva felt a bit of pride when she heard him say she was tough. She was glad she had gotten that across. 

     "Well, why did you want to find me in the first place?" Eva finally decided to ask. 

     "At first, I was worried you might be someone who would try to kill me or something. When I found you however, you looked pretty harmless. Cute, even. So I decided that if we became friends, or more, we could work together." Nick smirked. Eva scowled slightly at the; 'or more,' part.
