"Incident" [Canceled Series]

     "This is amazing!" Eva said with a gasp as she looked around in awe. It really was Minecraft. She quickly let go of Nick's hand and looked down at herself and saw that she too was made of pixely cubes. She was basically a pixely version of herself. "How did you?-" 

     "It's part of my powers." Nick interrupted with a smug smile as he watched Eva's reaction. 

     "You ever going to give me an actual answer?" Eva asked with a sarcastic smile as she tilted her head at Nick. 

     "Maybe someday." He smiled back. Eva laughed a little in response. They then started silently walking around the meadow they were in. Only a few lonely trees stood around in the distance. The sun looked like it was setting behind the darkening horizon in a beautiful red to purple array of colors. "Should we chop some trees and build a house before the mobs spawn?" Nick finally asked. 

     "Hmmm.. Maybe... I'd like to fight though. Maybe that would be a cool way to learn how to use my powers properly." Eva suggested. 

     "Sure. Glad you aren't a scaredy girl." Nick said playfully as he elbowed Eva gently. She just smiled playfully in response. 

     "Wait, do you respawn?" Eva asked as a little look of worry appeared on her face. 

     "Eh. Sort of, I guess." Was Nick's answer. "But don't worry. A few mobs should be pretty easy." 

     Just then an arrow zoomed between the two and almost hit them. They turned and saw a skeleton with three zombies charging in front of it. Eva jumped to the side so she was in front of one of the zombies so it was between her and the skeletons. A diamond sword appeared in Nick's hand and he charged at the zombies. Eva could tell Nick was showing off as she saw him swinging at the zombies and deflecting the skeleton's arrows with great speed and skill. He even did a few rolls and flips for fun. It didn't take long till all four of the mobs were gone, just items on the floor. Eva saw that the skeleton had dropped a bow and a couple arrows and raced to pick them up. She wasn't extremely good with the bow, but she at least knew how to fire one. And she almost always carried one with her while playing the game. However the three arrows she picked up with the bow would only be enough to kill a single creeper. 

     "You need items?" Nick asked as they watched more mobs appear in the distance. "If you think hard enough, you can make however much you want appear in your inventory.. Didn't you do that self-consciously earlier with the diamond sword?" 

     "Did I?" 

     "Heh, I was asking you." 

     "Well, how?" 

     "As I said, think about it and focus hard. Imagine you holding the weapon or item of your choice and let yourself make it a reality." Right after Nick said that more arrows flew towards him and he deflected them with his sword. Eva grabbed the ones that landed on the floor and cowered behind Nick. There were no trees or buildings so he was the only thing there at the moment that gave her a sense of security. Eva then closed her eyes tightly and imagined a shield, a sword, no, a stack of arrows. 

     'Ghaa! Why is this so hard?! Just choose one!' She said in her head. Eva then decided on some arrows. As she focused, she felt her hand heat up slightly and then felt some stick-like items appear in her blocky fists. Eva squinted her eyes and looked down in amazement at the stack of arrows in her hand. Now it was time for some target practice. 

     Nick was still deflecting arrows in front of Eva and giving her time to figure her powers out. Eva poked out from behind him, bow in hand, and shot from behind him, still using Nick as a somewhat shield.
