"Incident" [Canceled Series]

     "I knew you two would eventually show up!" Brian smiled inside his helmet. "Now it's time I take you kids in!" He then flew at the two. By the way, he was flying using some kind of futuristic looking jet-pack. Eva and Nick charged at him together. Eva aimed for his right, and Nick aimed for his left. In typical fighting fashion, Brian just barely dodged their blades and they all turned to a stop and faced eachother again. It was like a game of jousting. But whoever fell wouldn't be getting up anytime soon.

     They charged again, but that time instead of aiming for the side, Eva twirled so she was right above Brian as she turned her sword in just the right way to stab him as she flew by. Brian flinched only a little as he turned to face the two teens, with a diamond sword lodged in his chest.

     "Yes!" Nick cheered. But Brian wasn't going down so easily. He wripped the sword out and the armor healed itself. The flesh underneath also healed in record time. Nick may have known a bit about the ISS, but he had never known they could survive something like that so easily.

     "How stupid you you have to be to really think I would go down that easily?!" The enemy laughed. Eva and Nick looked shocked. Nick looked a bit angry too. Eva made a new sword appear in her hand and she charged with Nick again at their foe.

     People from below began to notice and shake on the streets as the three fought. They really got people's attention when one would ram the other into the wall of a skyscraper. At one point Nick even wripped a telephone poll out of the ground and used it to whack Brian with. During the fight Eva got a few new cuts on her arms and even shattered her glasses a little in one of the corners. But she, like Nick, who had several new cuts on him too, including one on his cheek just below his left eye, didn't plan on giving up. And it wasn't exactly like one side was overpowering the other. It was pretty even throughout the whole match.

     "How is this guy so strong?!" Eva asked Nick when they had the time to catch their breath. An explosion then shook them in the sky right after she spoke. And Eva's eyes flickered back to normal as a she took a moment to breathe.

     "He must be one of their top soldiers! Wh- we might have to start using more of our powers to combat this guy." Nick panted.

     "With this many people around?! I don't think that is safe!" Eva told him in disagreement.

     "Either it is we win, or the ISS takes over the planet! Which would you prefer?!" ..Eva thought for a moment. Then she looked back at Nick.

     "What should we use first?" She asked him. Nick smiled.

     "I will start teleporting around him to confuse him, you-" Nick was cut off when suddenly Brian rammed into him and tossed him into a nearby building. The force sent Nick completely through the building and falling out the other side.

     "Nick!!!" Eva screamed in fear for her friend. She quickly flew around the building and caught Nick just before he could hit the ground. Nick was a bit disorientation by the having just been flung through a building, so he was glad Eva was there to catch him. Eva then flew up to the top of a tall flat building and set Nick there to recover. When she put Nick down, he stumbled and almost fell down.

     "-Awwww... Did I hurt your boyfriend." Brian teased as he hovered up into view from the side of the building. Eva scowled at him, and her eyes glowed white once more. That time even brighter than before. Then she pulled out another diamond sword.

     "Eva.. wait. I will be better in a moment. Don't fight by yourself." Nick whispered to Eva, weakly grabbing her hand with the sword. She only wripped her hand away. A question that had been lingering in her mind heated to a boiling point.
