When they re appeared in Nick's room Eva didn't notice. Her eyes were still closed tightly, and her arms were still wrapped around him. Nick just looked over his shoulder at her and almost laughed. When she realized they had already arrived, Eva let go and jumped back, but not as quickly as before.
"Fun ride hu?" Nick joked. Eva blushed and punched his arm lightly.
"Bruh, no!" She said in defense. Nick just smirked. Eva looked around and saw that there was something new in the room. She looked over and saw her bed covered in a pile of her clothes. "What is all this doing here?"
"I knew someone would be there soon. So I grabbed as much as I could and brought it here until I could tell you were already in trouble." Nick answered plainly.
"Where am I going to put the clothes?" Eva asked. Without answering, Nick vanished and reappeared near the bed with a circular clothing wrack.
"There, I knew there was an empty one at Goodwill." He said, mostly to himself. Then he teleported again and came back with a dresser. Eva's dresser, still full of her pants and such.
"Um, what about a bathroom?" Eva asked as she looked around. There wasn't one in the air bubble.
"Oh, I always just teleport to Walmart.. I guess you don't know how to do that yet though." Nick sighed, thinking to himself. "..I guess I could install one, and use the sea water around us as plumming." Nick shrugged.
"Iew." Eva said, her face looking queasy.
"Would you prefer me teleport you to one every time?" Nick asked, knowing Eva's answer already.
"Fine." She huffed. "Just make it go as far out as possible."
"Will do." He said, that was probably already his plan anyway. It took him about an hour, even with his powers that would make any plumber stare in awe. Meanwhile, Eva tried to figure out how the TV was able to even work. There weren't any power sources or even wifi. So how was she able to watch TouYube!?!
The light was almost completely out when Nick had finished and tested it. He even found some wood and sheet rock walls at a construction site and just decided to teleport them there. And he even put on a tarp roof so some light could still come in through the holes, but no one could see through. He knew Eva would prefer hold it in if even little fishies could see her. Eva then inspected the small bathroom and saw a toilet, with a sink across from it. Plain and simple. She sort of wondered if she would have to be teleported every time she needed a shower. At least it wouldn't be as often. :}
Once it got dark enough, and the water was as dark as the midnight sky, little glowing fish, jellyfish, and shrimp, came out from deeper below. They surrounded the air bubble like stars in the sky. Eva just had to look around at them in amusement. By then she had already hung up or folded the clothes so she was able to lay on her twin size bed and look up at the mysterious creatures. Ever since she had watched a few documentaries about the deep sea, she always wanted to see the glowing creatures for herself. And the sight was just as beautiful as she had imagined, maybe even prettier.
"You get kind of used to it after a while." Nick said from his bed across the room. It was a circular room so there weren't exactly corners.
"Huh?" Eva asked. "They come out here every night?!"
"No, just every now and then. But I have been down here for about three years now so I am kind of used to it." Nick shrugged.
"Lucky. I wish I could have lived like this long ago."
