"Fine." Holly winced at Angus's sharp tone and had to use all her strength to keep himself from crying as she watched him walk out.

I guess I know how he felt now. Holly thought to herself.

Her one night off now, she spent watching whatever horror movies ended up playing on tv. She was almost asleep when she was awoken from a noise that was from The Shining.

She didn't want to watch it, she was already emotionally fucked up, watching the movie her and Angus had seen on one of their dates wasn't going to help but there wasn't much else on.

She'd never cried at a movie, let alone a horror movie, but that time she did. She'd do anything to have Angus by her side again, holding onto her like a child would a teddy bear after a nightmare.

The credits came on about midnight. Holly winched at the wetness of the pillow from her tears.

"I've made a big mistake...I'm about to marry the wrong man!" Holly knew shit talking herself wasn't going to help the situation, or make it any less real, but that's all she could think to do.

Six am rolled around, the hour that woke Holly. She'd gotten to sleep about two o' clock am, she didn't have a lot of sleep to run on.

She figured Jessica would be at the diner by now, maybe she could get herself a coffee.

Holly couldn't manage to motivate herself until about eight, after all she was operating on no more than three hours of sleep.

Holly made her way in the diner, not thinking anyone would be there, and just flat out said "Jess...I've fucked up. I made a mistake." Jessica glanced at her, with a look on her face that read 'oh shit'.

Angus turned to her too. "Whatcha mean by that Holl?"
