"Holly. Wow." The man sounded down, and rather shocked.

Holly was almost brought to tears. "Been a long time hasn't it dad?"

"Yeah. You need some money? Me to rid a boyfriend you've got in your life?"

"No dad."

"Okay then why ya talking to me now? After all this time?"

"Remember when I was a little girl? And we used to talk about my wedding day? How you'd promised me you'd walk me down the aisle?"

The man was silent for a moment.

"Yes Holly. But there's no fucking way you called me just to dredge up our past. It'll be worthless if that's your intention."

"Jeez you didn't have to be rude about it."

"Don't beat around the bush Holl."

"I'm getting married dad. And I'm giving you one last chance to be a good father. One last chance to prove yourself."
