Alec led Myrcella to Clary's room in silence, when they reached the door she faced him.
"Here it is." Alec smiled, gesturing towards the door.
"Thanks." She replied, smiling and almost letting herself get lost in his eyes again. She shook her head quickly realizing what she was doing. "I better go in then. Goodnight bow boy." She added and patted him on the shoulder.
Alec froze in his place in the hallway for a bit, still looking at the closed door. He knew Myrcella was something else as no other girl had ever made him feel the way he was feeling at the moment. He knew he had to get over what he was feeling because it was messing up with his brain. He sighed and started walking towards his room, thinking a well deserved sleep would solve this.
At the same time, Myrcella leaned her head against the closed door, closing her eyes and taking in a deep breath. She felt exhausted, needed a shower and a week's worth of sleep. She knew she definitely felt something towards Alec but she had her reasons. He was tall, handsome and had this air surrounding him. She knew her feelings were nothing more than physical attraction. At least she hoped so. She went over to the bed to see if her sister was okay and decided to portal herself to Magnus' apartment. Silently and sneakily, she walked out of the Institute and opened up a portal, walking to her room. It felt like it had been months since she was last here when it hadn't even been a week.
She went to her walk-in bathroom and cursed when she looked in the mirror. She looked like hell; her eyes were bloodshot, she had dried blood on her neck and her clothes were messed up but at least her hair was still looking good.
"Myrcella." She locked eyes with him in the mirror and smiled.
"Magnus." She sighed and wrapped her arms around him. He hugged her back immediately and gave a content sigh.
"Oh how I missed you. I felt your magic in the apartment and I was so worried- who did this?!" He cut his sentence halfway through when he saw the bite mark on her neck.
"Your ex lover." The young girl replied, rolling her eyes. "Charming as ever." She smiled sarcastically.
"Camille." He made a fist, angry that she would touch Myrcella like that. "But you're okay?" He held her face and checked around her body.
"Yes, now leave so I can take my first shower. I need like 50." She groaned and turned her back to him, taking off her jacket.
He smiled at her and left the bathroom. He was glad that she was back with him, where he could keep her safe from the Circle and Valentine better than any Shadowhunter could. Meanwhile during her shower, Myrcella was thinking about her mother and her sister. Somehow with her magic, she sensed what her sister was feeling and it was distraught. She knew she couldn't stay there for long and that she needed to be with her sister. She quickly finished showering and got dressed. She wrote a small note to Magnus saying she'd be back soon and portalled herself back to the Institute. She went in to go to her sister's room, only to find everyone having a small meeting.
