"You um, come here often?" Alec stuttered to the cop sitting at the information desk causing Isabelle and Myrcella bite their lips to stop themselves from laughing out.

"I work here. What can I help you with?" The cop replied with an annoyed look.

"Right, um, right, right, right, yeah, um." Alec went straight back to stuttering and Myrcella slapped her forehead.

"Oh my god! We're so screwed." The half warlock exclaimed quietly to the girl next to her, who only giggled in reply. Alec shot the cop one of his infamous smiles which made Myrcella's heart do backflips.

"And you're the one who wants to screw that mess." Isabelle commented with a knowing smirk playing on her lips which earned her a light punch and a glare.

"Yeah, I'm just, I'm looking for some information." The raven haired Shadowhunter finally managed to say as he saw the information pamphlets on the desk. "Oh look, oh wow. I'm so sorry." He apologized after he knocked the water bottle down making water go everywhere on the desk. "Let me just get that. That's such a mess. Let me clean that up." He threw the ID towards Isabelle who was in position to catch it without anyone noticing. Alec fumbled with the pamphlets and grabbed a couple before thanking her and rushing towards his sister and Myrcella. Alec and Myrcella stood guard as Isabelle cut the power and the trio rushed outside after the alarm went off.

The sun was already down and the front of the precinct was lit with blue and red lights dancing around due to the amount of police cars. Myrcella was growing anxious as she didn't see Clary nor Jace come out of the building and the place was swarming with cops.

"Thank god!" Myrcella exclaimed with relief as she saw the duo walk towards them.

"Did you get it?" Alec questioned his mind set on going back to the Institute as soon as possible.

"Theoretically." The younger Fairchild replied with a grimace.

"Theoretically?" Alec questioned not understanding how someone could get the Cup theoretically.

"Yeah." Clary sighed. "I found the card. I just have to figure out how I reached into my notebook before. It's not an exact science." Clary replied looking around to see if they were being overheard.

"Can't you just pull the Cup out?" Alec insisted on questioning Clary when it was pretty obvious they were getting nowhere.

"I can, theoretically. I just, it's not as easy as it looks, Alec." Clary groaned getting annoyed by the older Shadowhunter. Myrcella noticed Alec was about to open his mouth again so she put her hand out to his chest.

"Enough. It's obvious Clary can't pull the Cup out now. No need to pester her." Myrcella intervened and her sister shot her an apologetic look.

"Listen, you two can discuss theory as much as you want when we get back to the Institute. But right now, considering we just stole from the cops, I suggest we get home." Jace jumped in, supporting Myrcella.
