"I pulled every item of magical importance from Ragnor's belongings. But I can't determine which will lead to the Book of the White." Magnus stated as random items appeared on the table in front of them.
The high warlock had pulled them to the meeting area after the epic scene Myrcella and Alec had created. He shot them a look and smiled warmly when he noticed how both of their cheeks were still flushed and Alec had an arm casually resting around her waist. As Myrcella scanned the table, she tried her best not to think about Alec's hand and how with even a small touch he could ignite her whole body.
"Wait, this bookmark." Clary spoke up as she leaned down to pick up a torn piece of a bookmark with intricate designs.
"In the alternate dimension!" Myrcella added as she too recognized it.
"It must have been the Book of the White." The younger Fairchild muttered with a smile. They were one step closer to waking up their mom.
"If that's the case, we can use the bookmark to track the owner of the book." Alec spoke up from her side his fingers lazily rubbing circles on her side. Jace reached out to take it from Clary's hand but Magnus acted quick and smirked.
"Warlock tracking is stronger." Magnus commented with a wink and Myrcella walked out of Alec's hold to see for herself. They both breathed heavily and closed their eyes. Myrcella groaned after seeing who was the new owner.
"Well, there's good news and bad news. The good news is I know the owner. The bad?" The high warlock spoke up with a grimace.
"It's Camille." Myrcella scowled knowing there was no way the female vampire would help them.
"Looks like Raphael has her locked up in the basement of the Hotel DuMort." Magnus added informing the rest of the group as Myrcella rubbed her temple, begging the universe to give her a normal day.
"Well, after I punched her, there's no way she'll help me." Clary spoke up, shaking her head.
"You punched Camille?" Myrcella's eyebrows shot up and she beamed at her sister. "You're definitely my sister." She winked making her sister smile.
"She won't have a choice. Trust me." Jace gruffly spoke up with his arms crossed in front of him and walked away. Clary left after him with a frown on her face as Magnus cleared up the rest of the object on the desk. The high warlock wanted to leave the room to give the two some privacy before they had to go on the mission.
"I think Isabelle was looking for me so if you'll excuse me." He spoke up with a mischievous glint in his eyes and sauntered away before anyone could say anything.
"So that happened." Myrcella spoke up not knowing what to say for a minute. When Alec turned around to face her, his eyes had something different in them as his eyes went down her body lingering around the slit of her dress. He took a step towards the girl he finally had to himself and Myrcella's heart was beating in her ears. Unintentionally she took a step backwards and the back of her legs hit the desk. The raven haired Shadowhunter raised an eyebrow at her action and smirked. "Is the big bad Shadowhunter really smirking at me?" Myrcella chuckled softly as she looked at his smirk which did things to her.
