Chapter Two

Three months later and things have been amazing. My body has changed already so much. I got a little taller and my shoulders got broader. My hands got bigger and of course my facial hair and my voice. It's even deeper than Navy's! Toni thought This move has been great so far. Toni's been working so hard to build his new body and Toni couldn't be happier. He's definitely gotten muscular along with a six-pack. Tryouts are this week and Toni is beyond nervous. Toni and Navy have been practicing every day. Toni's arm has dramatically improved and even Navy has been great. He has always been Toni's right-hand man as his wide receiver and of course as his brother. Navy always had Toni's back and Toni will always have his.

''Let's take a break, bro.'' Navy said as he ran over panting. ''You're right, Navy.'' Toni said. ''Dude, we are going to kick ass at tryouts. With your awesome arm and my amazing catching skills.'' Navy said gesturing to himself. Toni just laughs at him walked inside where he found Nora sitting there looking sad. ''What's up Bug?'' Toni asked concerned. ''Nothing'' Nora said not making eye contact. The move hadn't been as easy for her as it was for Toni and Navy. Toni walks over to Nora putting his hand on her shoulder. ''Hey, I know you. I know when you're not yourself.'' Toni said. Nora turns to look at Toni in his eyes. ''I'm just scared about starting high school with out my friends.'' Nora said after few moments. Toni sighs, ''I know Bug, but this is a chance to totally reinvent yourself.'' Nora is silent for a moment while thinking about Toni's words. ''You know what? You're right.'' Nora said as she got up to hug her big brother. ''I'm always right.'' Toni said smirking at her. Nora rolls her eyes, ''Shut up you idiot.'' Nora said as she pushed him playfully. ''Navy and I have your back, okay?'' Toni said to her. '' Thanks, Toni'' Nora said hugging Toni and walking away.

Finally, it was the day of the tryouts. Toni actually woke up with no problem. Toni is absolutely not a morning person but today is different, he has a good feeling. '' Morning, Mom'' Toni said walking into the kitchen and giving his mother a kiss on her cheek. ''Good morning honey. Why are you up so early?'' Mom asked with a questioning look. ''Tryouts are today, Ma.'' Toni said shrugging, Kate put her hands on her son's shoulder letting out a chuckle. ''Honey, that's not until 11:00 am and it 8:00 am.'' Mom said. ''Can't a guy just be excited without being questioned?'' Toni said smirking at his mother. Mom rolled her eyes, ''Honey you are so my son.'' Mom smirked back. Navy came into the kitchen about half hour later rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. ''Morning, guys.'' Navy said as he yawned. ''You ready for toady, bro?'' Toni asked excitedly. ''Hell, yeah!!'' Navy said high-fiving Toni.

Finally, it was 10:00 am, only an hour until tryouts. ''Navy! Come on we have to get going!!!'' Toni yelled. Navy finally come running down the stairs, and they walk out to the truck thy shared. They are twins, why not right? Toni and Navy arrived at the fields 20 minutes later. They both go change and run out to the field. There are quite a few people at the field. People just hanging out on the bleachers and of course the cheerleaders. Toni and Navy gather around with the other guys while the coach walked up crossing his arms.

'' Welcome gentlemen to hell. I am Coach Clayton for those of you that don't know.'' Coach said. Toni was listening until her turned his head and saw one of the cheerleaders. She was at the top of the pyramid. She had beautiful long red hair flowing over hr shoulders. Shad had the most beautiful brown eyes he had ever seen. He couldn't stop looking and bit his lip. She looked right at him, locking her light brown eyes and his dark brown eyes. She smiles at him, and he smiles back with a nod. Navy nudges his arm and Toni turned back to look at the coach. ''Okay, I want defense with Coach Davis and I want offens with me. QB's line up!'' Coach yelled blowing his whistle, causing all the boys to scramble around the field. There's only Toni and one other guy for quarterback. The tall brunette walks over to Toni sticking his hand out. '' Hey I'm Reggie'' The boy said. Toni takes Reggie's hand and shakes his hand with a firm grip. ''I'm Toni.'' He said as he introduced himself. Reggie pulled Toni towards him and leaned over whispering in his ear ''Don't even think about being first string. That's my job and it's going to stay that way.'' Reggie said snarling. Toni leaned in and said ''Things change. You better watch your ass.'' Toni glared at him and pulled his hand away. Toni walked away to warm up with the coach.
