Chapter 46

Cheryl was getting ready, she was meeting Veronica and Betty at the mall for a girls day. At first she didn't want to go there but Toni told her to go because she deserved a break. Toni is going to watch Alex aswell as working on the surpirse he has for Cheryl.

After Cheryl was finally changed and ready to go she walk back downstairs and found Toni with Alex in the living room. Toni was sitting on the floor with Alex and they played a little bit with Alex's toys. Cheryl stood in the doorway and watch them for some time, she wanted to take a photo really quick and after she done that she walked over to Toni and sat down next to him.

''You ready for you girl's day baby?''

''Yeah, are you sure that I should go?''

''I am sure about it, go and have fun with the girl's you deserve it.''

''Okay, call me if anything happens.''

''I will, now go have fun.''

''Thank you. I love you and please be carefull.''

''I love you too baby, and I promise to be carfull.''

Cheryl kissed Toni goodbye and kissed Alex on the forehead. She then stood up and walked to the front door. There she took her care keys and her purse.

''See you later handsome, love you.''

''See you later baby, love you too.''

Cheryl walked to the car and started to drive to the mall where she is going to meet Veronica and Betty.

Toni was sitting on the floor, Alex in his lap while he drank his bottle. Suddenly his phone started to ring. The sudden sound made Alex jump a little but he kept drinking his milk. Toni got his phone out and took the phone call.

''Hello''

''Hello is this Antonnio Topaz?''

''This is he, how can I help you?''

''I am a nurse from Riverdale General Hospital, you are listedd as the emergency contact of Cheryl Blossom. Is that right?''

''Yes that is correct. Did something happen to her, is she hurt, can you tell me anything?''

Panick started to risis in Toni but he tried to stay calm for Alex

''Miss Blossom had a car accident, she was brought here and in this moment she is in surgery. Can you please come here so that we can talk about everything?''

''Of course I am on my way.''

 The phone call ended but Toni was still nervouse as hell. But he had to get going, he needs to be there for Cheryl. He slowly stood up from the ground with Alex and got everything he need. Toni then put his shoes on, got his car keys and walked to his care. He put Alex in his car seat and started to drive to his parents. Toni didn't want to take Alex to the hospital, because he wasn't sure of what is about to happen and he didn't want to have Alex around there because he is probably going to be a mess.

While he drove he kept thinking about the phone call and he could feel the tears slowly running down his face. He wasn't able to stop his mind form thinking about what's is going to happen. He kept on asking himself questions. He kept on telling himself that if something happens to Cheryl he is not going to be able to take care of Alex.

After a short drive to his parents house he got Alex out of his car seat and got his diaper bag. He then knock on the door and as soon as the door was opened by  his mother, she knew that something was up. She pulled Toni into the house and led him into the living room. They sat down and the moment Toni sat he broke down crying. Ravi walked into the living room and saw his son crying while his wife held him.

''Toni what is wrong honey?'' Kate ask.

''I...I go...I got a call from the hospital...Cheryl had a car accident and is in surgery right know.'' Toni said in between sobs.

''Oh no, but everything is going to be alright. Cheryl is a fighter.''

''I have to drive to the hospital. I need to be there for her. Would it be okay if I would leave Alex here with you, I just don't want him to be in the hospital so long. And I just want what's best for him, he doesn't need to see this right now.''

''Of course honey. Alex can stay here as long as he needs to. Drive to the hospital and be there for Cheryl. We will take care of Alex. Please keep us updated and take care of yourself. Either me or your father will come to you and bring you some food, okay?''

''Thank you''

Kate hugged her son and Ravi did the same. It broke both of their hearts to see their son like this. They thought that Toni finally had a normal life but now this happened. But they are both sure that Cheryl will be okay and they that Toni will be ther for her the whole time no matter what.

Toni walked back to his car and made his way to the hospital. He just need to be there for Cheryl and he is going to make sure that the person who did this to the love of his life is going to suffer. No one is hurting his family and getting away with it.

He finally reached the hospital and as soon as he parked his car he ran to the entrance.

Toni ran to the first nurse he saw and ask about Cheryl.

"Hey my name is Toni I was called because of Cheryl Blossom. She was brought in because of an car accident."

"Miss Blossom is currently still in surgery. You can sit down in the waiting room and we will call you the moment she gets out."

"Can't you give me some kind of information about her?"

"I'm really sorry but at this moment I can't give you any but as soon as I have some I will tell you"

Toni just nodded and walked into the waiting room. He still couldn't believe the Cheryl was in surgery right now. And that because of an accident. She always drove so carefully. How could this happen.

He was sitting in the waiting room, he texted his mother shortly and ask her to tell everyone about the accident so that he wouldn't have to. Because if he had to talk about it would just end in a disaster. Ravi came by as promised and brought some food for Toni. But he only ate a little. Ravi sat with his soon a little while but then he left because he knew that Toni wanted to be alone.

Two hours later. Two hours of waiting. He finally gut called.

"Family of Cheryl Blossom?"

As soon as he had heard this words he jumped up and walked over to the nurse.

"How is she? I'd everything okay."

"Miss Blossom is okay at this moment. But we have to wait and see how the night goes. Her surgery was complicated but the surgeon was able to take care of everything. Right now she is in a coma to help her heal better but if you want I can lead you to her room."

"That would be great."

The nurse brought Toni to Cheryl’s room and Toni stood infornt of the door for a short moment before he was brave enough to walk inside. Bit what he saw broke his heart and all the tears he was able to hold back in the past hours ran down his face.

There in the bed laid the love of his life with tubes every were. Her face is covered in cuts. Her left arm is in a cast as well as her right leg.

Toni pulled a chair next to Cheryl’s bed and held her hand.

"Hey baby, I am so sorry that this happened to you but I promise to you that I will do everything in my power to help you. You don't deserve to lay here and if I find out that someone has to do with this. That person will regret it."

He kissed Cheryl’s hand, while he had tears running down his face.

" Please wake up my love. We have so much to do and explore together. Alex needs you. I need you. And I can't do this with out you. Pleass wake up baby."

Toni broke down even more and laid his head onto her hand. How can someone do this. How can something like this happen. But all of this doesn't matter in this moment. Right now he just wants Cheryl to wake up. He wants to see her beautiful eyes and her beautiful face. He wants to have her back. But right now he has to wait and hole that everything is going to be okay.
