Chapter 77

Everything was going fine. Toni made sure that Cheryl was feeling fine and that she rest enough. While Cheryl was resting and getting better after her surgery. For a few weeks now Cheryl and Toni have been talking about Cheryl getting a job. Well more like Cheryl talked and Toni listened. She had prepared a list to show to Toni, so that he will definitely say yes. After a long talk they decided to look for a job for Cheryl together. Cheryl would really love to work in a law office. That is like one of her dreams. But she also would like to have her own company one day. But for the start they looked into some of the best law offices, and they sent Cheryl's application there.

It has been a few weeks now since they had sent Cheryl's application. Cheryl was getting nervous because she was scared that neither of the offices would want her. But Toni told her that she will be taken, because anyone who didn't want her to work there would be dumb. This helped Cheryl a little. She was still a little nervous but with the help of Toni she was able to relax. But today, today was different. This morning everything seemed to be fine. Cheryl woke up, cuddled a little longer with Toni until he told her that he will make breakfast. So she got out of the bed and got some comfy cloth on for the morning. Before Cheryl wanted to make her way downstairs, she wanted to check her social medias and her emails. She didn't really think that there would be anything intersting, but then she saw something she didn't believe in anymore. She got an email from a law office, to tell that they would love for her to come to their office for an interview. As soon as Cheryl had read the email, a loud scream was heard from upstairs. Said scream had Toni running up the stairs, almost tripping, but he managed to get up without getting hurt. As soon as he ran into their bedroom, he saw Cheryl sitting on their bed with tears in her eyes, her phone still in her hand.

What happened downstairs.

Toni was downstairs in the kitchen making some breakfast. He wanted to spoil Cheryl a little more than usual because she has been down a little ever since they had sent the applications. But he was sure that Cheryl will get accepted. For him Cheryl is the best. And which company wouldn't love to have the valedictorian of her school. Toni was about to put the bacon in the pan when he heard a scream from upstairs. As soon as he heard it he knew that it was Cheryl, so he let everything fall down onto the counter running as fast as he could up the stairs. This time he managed to do it without falling. But what he saw in their bedroom broke his heart. There on their bed was sitting a crying Cheryl. He walked over to the bed and pulled Cheryl as close as he could. Right now it didn't matter what the problem was. All he cared about was making sure that Cheryl was okay. He held her close and whispered sweet little nothings into her ear.

It took a couple of minutes until Cheryl calmed down. But even though she was calm Toni still held her close. As close as possible. Until he broke the silence.

''Everything alright baby?'' At first Cheryl didn't answer still a little shocked about the news. Her head still buried into Toni's neck So Toni decided to try it again.

''Everything is going to be okay. Even if you didn't get the job. Which is hard to believe, because you are perfect my love. Anyone with eyes can see that. You are perfect my love. Never doubt that in any second of your time. You hear me. If they say no now they will definitely regret it late, when you will be a successful lawyer with your own company.'' Toni kisses Cheryl's forehead.

''Now can I please see those beautiful eyes, mmh? Please baby...let me see those beautiful eyes of yours and your prefect smile.'' This time Cheryl actually looked up and smiled at Toni.

''There are those perfect eyes and perfect smile. Now can you please tell me what got you so upset. You know that I don't like to see you this upset.'' Toni said with a little pout. With a little nod Cheryl takes a deep breath. So that she will calm down a little more. While she did that Toni whipped her tears away with the pad of his thumb.

''I got accepted.'' Cheryl whispered.

''Wait what....'' Toni couldn't even get to the end of his sentence, because Cheryl was nodding eagerly with a huge smile plastered on her face.

''I got accepted!!!!!'' Cheryl yelled this time.

''Oh my god baby. This is amazing. I think that this sounds like it deserves a little celebration. Your favorite breakfast, afterwards watching some movies and cuddle aaannnddd I will ask my parents if they could watch Alex tonight. Hmm how does that sound to you my love?''

''That sounds amazing handsome.'' Cheryl said still with a huge smile on her face. She leaned in to kiss Toni but it wasn't really a kiss because both of them were smiling way too much.

Cheryl is upstairs washing her face after all of her crying, while Toni was downstairs getting their breakfast ready. Luckily Alex slept trough Cheryl's little breakdown. Toni was still waiting for the pan to get hot, so he decided to text his mother about her taking Alex tonight.

Hey mom.

Hey honey, how are you?

I'm good mom, how are you?

I'm good as well, thanks for asking.

So what can I help you with?

What makes you think that I need something?

Honey, you are talking to your mother I know when something is up

Okay, fine

Would you mind taking Alex for the night?

It's just that Cheryl got accepted for an interview at one of the law offices.

And I wanted to...

Honey stop the rambeling.

Of course not. I love to spent time with him.

Omg thank you so much you are a lifesaver.

After everything was cleared up with his mother, and he knew that Alex could stay the night with his parents he wanted to do all he could to surprise Cheryl with a little romantic dinner. To show her how proud of her she is. Even tough that he is not just proud of because she got accepted. He is proud of her all the time, and he wants to make sure that Cheryl knows that. Toni wants to treat Cheryl like the princess she is.

Breakfast was done and Toni was about to get Cheryl downstairs. But before he could make his way up he heard Cheryl come down. And as soon as he saw her he was stunned. Because seeing Cheryl in her comfy close, her hair in a messy bun and a sleepy Alex on her hip is just pure perfection.

''Wow you look amazing baby''

''Aww thanks handsome, I can only say the same about you.'' Cheryl leaned closer and gave Toni a kiss.

''Thanks baby. Ready to eat some breakfast?''

''Uuuuhhh that sounds amazing and by the smell of it I just know that it is going to be amazing. Thanks for making breakfast.''

''Your welcome love. Oh and I texted my mom, and she said she would love to take Alex tonight.''

''That sounds amazing''

''Mmh I hope so.''

Some informations.

I recently tore my ACL at one of my games so I had to have surgery last weekend.

Because of the surgery and because of some stress at school my updates might be a little slower.

I am really sorry about that but I will try to post at least once a week. I will try my best to get that done.
