Today is the day of Toni's first game. A week ago Toni and Cheryl started dating and they couldn't be happier. Toni got up and showered, putting on his football jersey. Toni bites his lip and nods his head vigorously. ''You look so sexy in your jersey, baby'' Cheryl whispered to Toni sending shivers down his spine. The bell ranf and the two couples separated.

Finally, it was the end of the day but unfortunately for Toni, it was time for the pep rally. ''Hey Topaz.''Coach said motioning for Toni to come over to him. Toni puts his books in his locker and walks overto the coach. ''What's up, Coach?'' Toni with a nod. ''The pep rally will be starting soon and i need you to be first and lead us out, son''Coach said putting his hand on Toni's shoulder. ''Yes sir" Toni said convincingly but really his stomach was in knots. He never tought this would ever happened for him, it was all still a dream. "Let's go, Captain"Coach said smiling and guiding Toni to the front of the team.

The gym was packed and loud with cheering and the band that was playing. Tonni could see Cheryl cheering her heart out and he couldn't be more proud of her. The smile on his face could brighten anyone's day. ''Alright, boys. Let's do this!"Choach yelled bringing Toni out of his Cheryl daze. "Please  welcome our oride and joy our football team, the riverdale bulldogs!Lead by our very own Coach and team Captain, Toni Topaz!'' Pricipal Weatherbee introduced the team, sending the gym into a frenzy. The team runs out to the middle of the gym, the coach went up to the microphone. ''Are you ready for one hell of a season. Riverdale?!" The crowd cheered in response. ''Here is the man that will bring us to victory, Mr. Toni Topaz!" Coach yelled and motioned for Toni to come up to the microphone. Toni internally groaned in embarassment and then walked up to the coach. All of the girls were going crazy when Coach calle Toni's name. ''Toni, what are your plans for this season?" Coach asked. ''My plan is to kick ass and take our names all the way to state!'' Toni yelled and the entire crowd cheered and started chanting his name. Toni found Cheryl in the crowd and blew her a kiss. The game:

It's only been the first quarter and Toni and the entire team is on fire. It's already 14-0 RIverdale. The entire crowd is chanting TOni's name but the only person he hears is Cheryl. "Come on boys.''Ravi cheered as Toni looked to throw the ball. Toni lookes over at Navy wide open in the end zone. Toni leans back and puts it all in the throw and launches it down the field before getting takled but the ball is still in the air on its way to Navy. The crowd is on thier feet watching the ball. Navy jumps up and cathces the ball. THe crowd erupst in cheers. ''Yes those are my sons!!!''Ravi cheered proudly wit ha big smile.

It's near the end of the fourth quarter amd ther's time fore one more play. The score is now 17-14 wih Riverdale trailing behind. It's Riverdals ball and the are on their own 20 yard line. ''Ready set hike!'' Toni yelled. Toni has the ball and there's no one to give it to. Everyone is blocked. TOni starts running towards the end zone. ''Come one, baby!!!'' Cheryl cheered juming up and down. The crowd is cheering Toni's name as he reaches the 10 yard line. Toni sees defenseman coming right at him but Archie cuts his off with a tackle. Tonis sees Navy wake anothe guy down. Toni is coming up to the goal line where he locks eyes with another defensman. Toni collides with the defender and he flips Toni over his head, causing him to land in the end zone.

''Touchdown!Quarterback and Captain number 8, Toni Topaz has won the game for Riverdale!''THe announcer exclaimed into the speaker. Everybody is cheering. The team is celebrating in the locker room and getting dressed.

Toni and Navy walked out to their family and they went together with their friends and family to celebrat their win at pops.
