Chapter 49

Today is the day. Today Cheryl is finally released from the hospital. She can finally be home again, with her family, in her own bed. Cheryl can't wait for her doctor to walk in with her discharge papers. Toni is on his way right now to get some different cloth for Cheryl to change into, and he should be on his way back already. For Cheryl, it feels like hours that Toni had left her to get her different cloth. But in reality it only was like twenty minutes.

Cheryl was sitting on her hospital back and waits for her doctor so that he would do her last check up. But she also wants Toni back, she just hopes that he will be here soon. So that she can cuddle with him, because that is something that always calms her down. And right now she really needs to calm down. She is scared that the doctor will find something that would lead to her staying longer in the hospital and on the other side she was scared that Toni might do something stupid. Like doing something to Reggie, or that Reggie might do something to Toni.

She was so deep in thoughts that she didn't hear the knock on her door. But as soon as the door opens she had a big smile on her face. Because there he was. The love of her life, standing in front of her with the biggest of bouquet she could think of.

''Aww baby what all of this?''

''Well my princess is getting out of the hospital and I wanted to surprise her.''

''Aww thank you handsome, these are beautiful''

''Of course my love you deserve the world.'' Toni leaned down and kissed Cheryl shortly.

''Here are your cloth you've asked for and the doctor said he will be here in a few minutes.''

''Yay finally'' Toni had to laugh at Cheryl reaction. He loves to see her this happy, but he is still feeling guilty. Because he can stop blaming himself for what happened to Cheryl. Especially since Reggie had threatened him and not Cheryl. He thinks that he should be the one who got hurt and not Cheryl. She deserves so much better than ha can give her. But from now on he will show Cheryl every day that he will be always be by her side and be there for her to protect her.

Cheryl looked to the door because her doctor came in, and she couldn't wait any longer, she just wants to finally go home. The doctor did his last check up and Cheryl looked over to Toni and saw that he was lost in his head, and she knows about what he is thinking. Cheryl knows that Toni blames himself for what had happened even thought Cheryl told him a thousand of times that he wasn't the one to blame

Finally, the doctor gave Cheryl her release papers and Cheryl quickly changed so that they could leave as soon as possible. She was still thinking about how she could show Toni that he isn't the one to blame for what happened. But the only thing she could think of is talking to him. So that is what she decided to do when they are home. After Cheryl had changed Toni took her bag and Cheryl took her flowers. She then linked her free hand with Toni's, and they started to make their way to their car.

They drive home was really quiet, Cheryl was looking out if the window and Toni had one hand on her thigh and drew small patterns there. At home Cheryl sat down in the living room and Toni went into the kitchen to make Cheryl some tea and get himself a water bottle. Cheryl was trying to decide on a movie they could watch in the time before Toni's parents bring Alex over. The moment Toni came into the living room with their drinks Cheryl sat up straight and took her mug. Toni sat right next to her and Cheryl cuddled close to him. That is all she wanted. To just be close to him, but she needs to talk to him about him blaming himself.

''Hmm''

''Are you okay?''

''Of course, why shouldn't I be okay?''

''Well you still blame yourself about what happen and don't tell that it is wrong because I can see it in your eyes. But what I don't understand is why are you blaming yourself.''

''How can I not blame myself, because of me Reggie his doing this. Ever since we met and Reggie found out he started this shit. Without me your life would be a thousand times better. You would be hurt all the time and you wouldn't have to handle this shit all the time. It only happens because of me. Because you are with me. I just think that it would have been better if I would have just stayed away from you. Then you would have such a hard time an-''

''Okay stop. Now your just talking complete bullshit. Without you in my life, my life would be sad, depressing and I still would be the cold-hearted bitch everyone thinks I am. You have changed my life TT, for the better. And I can't think of a life without you. You brought so much happiness into my life, because of you I know what being loved feels like. You showed and taught me so much. I don't care about what other people think. I don't care of people stare. I don't care that people think that it's weird. But I love it. I love you. You are the love of my life and that is never going to change.''

Cheryl had tears running down her face. But the whole time she never stops looking at Toni. They kept eye contact, and she saw each tear running down his face.

''It hurts to see you like this TT. You blame yourself for something you couldn't have change. It hurts to hear you talking so bad about yourself. Because it is not true none of it. You and Alex are the best thing that happened in my life and I couldn't be happier in my life than I am right now. So please baby stop thinking so badly. Everything is going to be alright and soon everything is going to be okay.''

''I love you too baby, so much, so freaking much.''

They both had tears running down their faces, but they didn't care. Cheryl leaned in closer and gave Toni a deep kiss. They only broke the kiss to breath but even then they kept their foreheads together. Toni pulled Cheryl closer and hugged her. All they need right now is to be cloth to each other. Toni laid down on the couch and Cheryl laid on top of him. She reached for the remote and started 'the lion king', she then put the remote back down again and pulled the blanket over them and cuddled even closer to Toni. Toni then stated to draw small patterns on Cheryl's back. Cheryl laid her head into the crock of Toni's neck and kissed him there and Toni kissed her on the top of her head.

They were both exhauste, and they could feel their eyes starting to get heavier. And that is how Kate and Ravi found them two hours later. They were still laying on the couch, cuddled close together and fast asleep.
