That, when Madagascar lost touch, rebelled

With an abrupt cliff. The benevolent

Sahyadris; konkan and deccan on a

Shoulder each, from the tip of the Tapti

To ayya's grove down south; the western ghats

Rich in life, the basalt boon gave rise to

The drape of pune- mula and mutha.

On eight century copper- the punya-

The holy town, under rashtrakuta

Crown of the second king- Krishna the first.

The maiden mark of puneri prestige-

Base and Nandi's shine, left unfinished for

Keep from fold, the rocky umbrella dome.
