Kirtimukha

with unfinished purpose

starting with the tail

eating itself until only

remains its glorious

face of fearing divinity

at every arching door

Bakasura

when hero and villain both

uproot trees and hunger is

not to eat but the pride of

eating when guests slay

monsters blood flows from

his hill some times

Arunasura

Ten thousand years

Of dry leaves then

Water drops then air

Next nothing one day

Of ego that honey

Which black bees kill for

Simhika

mother of eclipse

and morpher of shadows

whose lust unmoved

by defeat forgiveness

bottling just one more

made her cast none

Vritra

dragon that slept

on river course

swallowed thunder

wood no stone nor metal

naïve froth from ocean

death raised at twilight
