*Hayleys POV*
I loved how great my life was going... until about a year later a few months passed my sons birthday i got the worst call anyone could ever get..... Colby called and told me him and Jake got into a bad car accident and that Jake couldn't feel his legs....
I instantly began to cry, I fall to the floor until my son walks in and asked "mommy... okay?"
"Yeah honey, we just need to get ready, daddy and Colbs are sick and at the doctor, go get mommy your shoes and we can go.."
As soon as we arrive to the hospital I grab Jacob and run inside as quickly as I could...
I went to the front desk and ask the lady what rooms were jake Webber and Colby Brock in.. she told me colby was in room 207 and that I could go see him, but Jake was in surgery and it would be hours before I can see him..
I find Colby's room and immediately ask him what happened.. "We were driving home when all of a sudden the steering went out and we hit the guard rail, Jake didn't have his seatbelt on and was thrown out of the windshield... that's all I can remember everything else is fuzzy"
A few hours that felt like forever had finally passed and Jake was out of surgery, I go in to see him but he's asleep.....soon after the doctor walks in and tells me the bad news... "theres good news and bad news, the good news is that the surgery went great we were able to fix his ribs, but the bad news is he's paralyzed from the waist down and he's in a coma.."
"Well do you know when he'll wake up?" I said desperate for answers
"Sadly we don't know.. we don't even know if he will wake up.." to be continued
