*COLBYS POV*
"Cmon Jacob, let colbs get your toys so we can go home"
Colby and Jacob walked to the car, it took a while because Colby was still on crutches. Colby strapped Jacob in his car seat and began to drive home....
~flashback~
"Jake come on let's go if you wanna make it to the ring store before it closes"
"I'm coming Colby, don't be in such a rush"
Colby and Jake hurry to the car... not caring Jake forgets his seatbelt unlike Colby who already had his on...
On their way back something out of the ordinary happens, the steering in the car went out and they suddenly were everywhere on the road...
They hit a guard rail and Jake went flying through the windshield and landed really hard on a sharp rock which broke his spinal cord, which left him paralyzed unfortunately..
Colby on the other hand was still in the car and was just being tossed and turned, when the car landed it was up side down and Colby broke his leg trying to get out..
~present time~
"Jacob is colbs boy asleep?"
Jacob didn't answer so Colby assumed he was asleep...
~flashback~
Colby managed to crawl over to where Jake was at and find Jakes phone, he called Hayley and explained what happened...
"Jake.. Jake can you hear me bro??"
"I can hear you.... Colby I have a question... where are my legs? I can't feel them"
~present time~
Colby arrives home and wakes Jacob up
"Cmon we are home now bud.."
"Daddy okay?" Jacob said
"Yeah, daddy okay" Colby said as he felt disappointed for lying
*next day*
Colby came to the hospital where he seen Hayley down in her lap crying...
"What's wrong??" Colby said
"They don't think he will make it through the night..." Hayley said
