Chapter seventeen-mistakes were made

*HAYLEYS POV*
I thought to myself .. what's this feeling I'm getting for Colby.. no I can't love him like that can I? No I can't it hasn't been that long since jakes passing away.. I can't....I was falling for him..

*She was falling but his heart was falling faster...*

Even though you told Colby you'd stop the cutting and stop the OxyContin you never did...

*You took a little more than what your body could handle one day.. all you remember is taking one small handful of OxyContin and blacking out.. soon you wake up in a hospital with Colby by your bed crying..*
"Colby.. wh-What happened why are we here?"
Colby quickly looks up and told me he got home one day and found me passed out in the bathroom, luckily my son was at his grandparents house.. "I brought you here and the doctors said you over dosed so they pumped your stomach and gave some medicine called naloxone it's supposed to reverse the overdose. I guess my hopes and prayers worked.. because here you are talking to me.."

I was so angry at him but hey so thankful he got there before it was too late..
I could tell he was angry with me for lying about getting help...
"I'm extremely annoyed with you right now Hayley I thought you were getting help?"
"I can't stop colby it's the only thing that helps with my pain, after Jake died I couldn't deal with the pain..."
"We all have our demons Hayley but this isn't the way to control them..just try is all I ask..try to help yourself.."

Shortly after the conversation with Colby you begin to crash..
"Doctors help!!" Colby screams "she's crashing"
The doctors run in and ask what happened Colby tells me you just suddenly crashed...
*you had gotten an awful infection from the cuts the doctors tried to medicate it after the bad pumped your stomach.. but the medicine wasn't strong enough.. they told Colby what was happening and he began to cry... you die shortly after that.. as you are going into the light, you see Jake standing there.. * "Jake, my love is that really you?" You ask excitedly "Hayley what are you doing here.. it's not your time yet..you have to go back."
"I can't jake, I'm not leaving without you.."
Jake quickly asks "what about our son? He can't live without his mom, and what about Colby he can't loose both of his best friends.."
"Jake I just can't leave with the love of my life.." you say as you cry.. "you will find new love soon enough..."
Before you can say anything you start to hear Colby's voice... "I love you Hayley , don't die on me.." you wake up and hug Colby..
you tell him you say Jake, and tell him everything jake told you...
Colby then thinks to himself.. am I her new love?...
"Colby I heard you say you love me.."
Hayley asked "why do you love me...."
