Y/n's pov. 

It's been a few days and I'm still having the fever, I'm at work. Victor told me to go home but I didn't want to, my fever is not that serious anymore. The second day I have the fever I couldn't even get out of bed, this is the fifth day, just say I'm getting better.

" it's time to take your medicine " Xiao Yu spoke.

I see the time is 12:00 pm.

I grab my water bottle and the bottle of pill. I took one pill out and pop it in my mouth. I swallow it as I drink the water and Victor enters.

I swallow my water.

" I told you I'm fine " i said.

" you should rest " he said and walk to me feeling my forehead.

" don't worry " I said and move his hand away sneezing.

" how can I not? " he asked.

" yes you can " I said.

" I'll ask Garroth to drive you home " he said.

" what no, leave him be, I'll be fine, plus I still need to do some research " I said and type on my laptop.

" you can do some research at home " he shuts my laptop, I whined.

" worry about yourself, I'm getting better anyways " I said open my laptop.

" even though, it can get worse " he said.

After him trying to convince me and I finally gave up and pack my stuff. Since Mariko drive me here, I didn't have to worry about my car getting left.

I grab my bag and walk with Garroth to the elevator. We enter and he press the ground floor.

" he's always do this " I said.

" well he is your father, you can't do anything about it " he said.

I look at him and he shrugs.

" now your on his side? " I asked.

" I don't pick sides " he said.

" well doesn't this sound familiar, 'well he is your father, you can't do anything about it' " I said and did my accent.

" I don't talk like that " he said.

" I don't talk like that " I tease.

" stop that " he said, I chuckled and sneeze.

We made it to the ground floor and we exit and we head to his car. He drives as I lie down, I was feeling tired so I lie down, the chair is comfortable.

" I hate your comfortable chair " I said.

" why? " he asked.

" cause it's too fucking comfy " I said and sink down, he chuckles and put on the radio.

" no " I said and use my foot to switch it off.

" put your foot down, this my car " he said.

" whatever " I said and put the chair down, as I put my leg up on the dash.

He rolls his eyes and I hummed as in laughter.

" your so stupid " he said.

" stupid is my way " I wink.

" yeah it is " he said.

" yeah it is " I tease.
