It's like 4:53 in the afternoon, everyone's about to leave and I'm still filling papers up, I've done like 37 pages and have 52 pages left. But Victor told us we're going to have a meeting at 5:00 o'clock. As the time passes by, I've done four pages more.

" Y/n "

I look up to the voice that spoke my name, seeing Nicole.

" well where have you've been? " I asked leaning back on my chair, crossing my arms.

Nicole has been gone for the whole morning and this is the first time I've seen her all day.

" shut up " she scoffs and enters then sits down on the chair in front of me.

" mind telling me what's on your neck? " she asked.

" I don't know, I just woke up with it " I said.

" Dante told me the exact same answer " she said.

" he told you? " I asked she raise an eyebrow as a yes.

" so why now? " I asked.

" Victor said we're going to have a meeting so I came " she said.

" it's either your telling the truth or bullshiting so you can fuck Dante later " I said.

" she's not " Dante walk pass my door with his eyes glued to his phone.

" alright " I said.

" so, how's that Luke ass? " she asked.

" he's okay I guess, and you still hate him " I said.

" I never liked that guy " she said.

" neither do us " Katelyn passes the door with Natalie but opposite way of where Dante walked.

" the guy's father is friends with him " Nicole said.

" I know, but you heard that his dad and Sabine was brutally murdered? " I asked.

" really? " she asked, I nodded.

" okay, I take that back " she said, I roll my eyes.

" meeting " Travis passes the door, i look at the time and it's 5:00 o'clock.

" we better go or before you crawl in another vent " she said, I scoff and we got up.

We both made our way to the meeting room and seated ourselves, as always, I put my legs up the table but Victor push it off, I whined, he rolls his eyes away.

" let's begin " he said.

" so, for today, I don't exactly call this a mission but a task " he said.

" and what's the difference? " I asked, he ignores me.

" as you all know, we have already have caught the Shadow Knights and completed your missions " he said.

" well not me apparently " I said.

Dante kicks my ankle lightly to shut me up, I sniff and smirked.

" you're all staying with the Shadow Knights "
