Y/n's pov. 

It's been a month since the mission we had, I have some fail attempts of assassinating Laurence, some of the other members have accomplished their mission in capturing the Shadow Knights.

Katelyn caught Ivy in a bar getting too drunk. Dante caught Gene while Gene assassinated Dante but it was a fail and Dante caught Gene instead. Travis caught Coral by archery, he put some smoke bomb in his arrows and assassinate her when she was in her house.

Ash and Natalie caught Zenix and Peter at the same time in a car chase. Zenix and Peter ended up in a car crash with a truck but they survived and caught them. Garroth caught Zane by dueling him in a hand combat when they coincidentally bumped into each other in an alleyway.

Nicole didn't have to catch Sasha, she found her knocked out in one of the bar's restroom. She looks like she was beaten up pretty bad.

And lastly is me, Laurence is still out there, the others kept their victim alive but as for me, I don't give mercy to those who deserves to die. But something went wrong when we were on a mission at Jayden's.

A guy was already aiming a gun at him and I saved him with no reasons, I could've just leave him there and die there but I couldn't. As every mission, we have to fill in reports after we accomplished a mission to update the systems records. And about the stitches I got on my stomach got removed a week ago, and there's another scar.

So far, the Shadow Knights we caught were actually behaving well, they don't seem to bother getting locked up. Victor had them lock up in a house as in house arrest.

We pretty much visit them and they seem to be friendly, even though we did fought together. As for me, I'm still recovering from the fever, I have been overworked myself a lot and the fever's temperature was dropping so many times that I didn't have the time to even assassinate Laurence.

I was cut off from my thought by a knock. I look up a see Victor.

" I'm fine! " I groan in annoyance, he's been checking in me every one hour and I slam my forehead on my desk.

" I was gonna say it's lunch break " he said.

I look at the time and it's 12:39 pm.

" I'm not eating " I said.

" you have to eat Y/n, we can't let you skip your meals, you have health problems right now " he said.

" so what?, I wanna die in the beginning anyways " I said.

" Y/n, I know your suicidal but you can't keep this up " he said.

" yes I can " I said, he puts both of his hand on his hips.

" angry old man activated " I said.

" just make sure to eat later " he said.

" are you done? " he asked, I calm down.

" why aren't you going away? " I asked.

" I had Ash and Natalie went to visit the Shadow Knights and they said that Laurence is not an Elite member " he said.

" and what does that means? " I asked.

" it means that you can't kill or catch him " he said.

" what?! " I slam my hand on my desk as I stood up.

Everyone outside turns their heads to my office.

" Zenix said it loud and clear on the phone " he said.
